Grief is an organic life experience. Your pain is purposeful and guides you to the areas within you that need healing. This meditative journey will guide you to meet a significant person in their soul presence. Grief is a spiritual journey and brings us many lessons for our growth and development. As you begin this meditation, ask your inner spirit what needs to be revealed to you as you seek comfort, healing, and transformation along your grief journey, and then open to the possibilities before you. The more you seek connection with your loved one, the stronger the sensations of their soul essence will grow. Sending you love and light on your journey.

Take a breath.

Settle back in your chair and close your eyes if you're comfortable.

Allow yourself to begin to walk along a path that's leading you to a wooded area.

And even if I say wooded area,

It could show up for you as a beach.

But that's ok.

Along this path there are trees and boulders.

Notice what the air feels like.

Maybe there are smells in the air.

Notice if these trees that you're passing,

Maybe they're pines,

Cedar,

Or another fragrance.

Notice if there's freshness.

As you're going down this path look around and see if there are colors around.

As you're walking deep into the forest you find yourself being able to place experiences,

Life experiences,

Just in these little safe little places.

Maybe it's by a boulder,

Maybe it's by a tree.

And as you are going in through the trees and you're leaving these memories maybe of pain and hurt,

Anguish.

Maybe they're unfulfilled wishes and dreams.

And even the reasons for them.

You come upon a stairway and you begin to descend into a space.

Initially it may look dark,

May feel a little cold.

But as you take these steps down into this sacred space there's a light and a warmth that shows up.

There's a glow.

You continue down the stairway and a few more steps and you're entering into this inviting and welcoming space.

It looks mysterious but also magical.

Look around and see what's before you.

What does the atmosphere feel like?

Who do you see?

What kind of energy are you experiencing?

What emotions are surfacing?

Just be with it all.

Everything is okay.

All of these emotions are welcome.

There's someone special that's waiting for you.

You greet your special visitor and you both sit on a beautiful beat,

A beautiful bench that's right there.

And you're able to visit for a few minutes.

Your special friend or visitor has a message for you,

Maybe more than one.

Might even have a tangible gift for you or those messages might be that gift.

Sit for a moment.

Know that whatever you hear or feel that you will find some resonance in your heart and soul.

As your visitor shares with you there's a sense of comfort knowing that you're getting information.

You're getting presence.

And although you might like to spend more time with that person,

That visitor,

We know that we need to say goodbye for now.

So thank your special one and know that your visits are only a journey away and always available.

You're comforted by that and even in awe by the profound simplicity of the experience.

So we say goodbye for now and begin to journey back,

Bringing all the magical,

Mysterious feelings and sensations and sense of warmth and connection with you.

Knowing that it can stay with you.

And as you journey back up the stairway,

Notice your emotions and how your body,

Your whole being feels.

Acknowledging,

Embracing.

Walking back through the woods,

You're aware that your life experiences are in the woods and you can leave them there or you can take with you what's important or valuable.

And now as we're arriving back into current time and present day and back in the room,

Just acknowledge that whatever came forward is okay.

And if you need to,

To take a moment to write a few things down.

Take a breath and then bring your hands together.

Rub your hands together again for balance.

Gently pat your thighs or grounding and come back into the room.
