This meditation is about opening your heart and letting go of your past. This is a powerful tool that will help you move from fear to love and live your life with an open heart. You can do this alone, or with your partner, a friend or a family member that you are wanting more heart opening and intimacy with.

Welcome to the Tantra Heart Meditation.

In the first phase,

We'll use touch and breath.

Place your hands over your heart.

Just this touch gets you out of your head and back into your body.

Connect with your body.

Fall in love with your body again.

Your soul feels through your senses,

For they are the companions of the divine.

And your body is here for the most sacred and beautiful experience.

Your life.

Touching your heart,

Feel how it begins to expand as your body begins to release oxytocin.

It's scientifically proven that a touch around the heart releases the love and bonding hormone oxytocin.

And what oxytocin does is it tells you,

I am safe to love.

So many of us have had experiences from our past that has made us shut down our ability to give and receive love without fear.

With your hands here at your heart,

Feel that oxytocin and the warm fuzzy feeling around your heart.

If at first you don't feel it,

Don't worry,

Just keep practicing.

Sometimes on the first day,

Sometimes on the first day,

You just have to feel numbness or disconnection.

Touching your heart,

I want you to take a deep inhale into your heart as if you are opening a sliding glass door there.

Now exhale.

Let go of any tension.

If you feel silly for doing this exercise or for doing anything,

Just go ah and let it go.

That sound releases tension from your body.

Now we're going to move into the second phase of this visualization.

I want you to visualize in your heart is your soul.

In this tantra visualization,

Your soul is the king or the queen and the ruler of your life.

As the ruler of your life,

Your soul should make all the decisions,

Especially the important decisions about relationships or making changes in your life,

Taking risks in your life,

Because your soul is fearless.

Your soul is connected to that infinite source.

It knows you live forever,

So it has no fight or flight.

Visualize your soul,

The queen or the king,

The ruler of your life,

Sitting on the throne of your heart,

The throne of emotions,

Feelings,

Connection,

And bonding.

Now visualize a servant standing outside guarding the door of your heart.

This servant is your mind.

Your mind's job is to serve your heart and your soul,

But for most of us,

Our mind has become afraid from past experiences and has become the master and locked the door to our hearts.

The problem with that is that our mind comes from fear,

From what it knows,

And survival and fight or flight.

Your mind can only make decisions based on past experiences.

For most of us in our past,

We've had moments of abandonment or disappointment that taught our mind to shut down and to lock this door to our heart.

Every day and every new experience we treat and we re-enact that same moment of abandonment and pain because we're too afraid to step forward to try anything new or to unlock our hearts and be vulnerable again.

Think about how that affects every new opportunity in your life.

If your mind is too frightened and it locks the door to your heart,

Your mind is trying to help you avoid experiencing pain,

But instead of helping,

It is keeping you frozen in that moment from the past.

So you keep re-enacting the same patterns and the same feeling and feeling the same pain.

Visualize your mind as that frightened servant holding the door to your heart tightly closed.

Now say to your mind,

It's okay,

Let go of any shame or any pain that you carry from the past,

The abandonment,

Or any ways you've learned to shut down and numb yourself from feeling or being vulnerable.

It's okay,

It's okay,

You did that for a reason,

But now you're here and you're stronger and you're ready.

It's okay mind,

Unlock that door,

Turn that doorknob,

Turn that door,

Open my heart.

I am willing to feel more and let go of the past.

Visualize your mind opening the door to your heart just a crack.

Now inhale into that heart opening.

Inhale any feelings of pain instead of avoiding them.

If this is too difficult,

Then just inhale the feeling of it being too difficult and accept that.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Keep visualizing opening the door to your heart wider.

Take a deep inhale and feel your heart expand and exhale.

Just letting it go.

All that pain and control from the holding on to the past and inhale.

Open the door a little wider,

Feel a little bit more,

Feel it being safe in this moment to open your heart and to feel and exhale.

Ah and let that go.

Keep inhaling and exhaling to your heart.

Now visualize that your soul is in a movie theater watching the movie of your life playing on the screen in front of you.

When you go see a movie you love the moments of fighting and making up,

Of feeling so much that you cry or you sit on the edge of your seat.

Remember that your life is a movie and that all the experiences are here for you to play and even when the play is hard remember that your soul is in love with your life.

When you can see your life through the eyes of your soul you will be able to ride the waves of emotion and experiences and not react or freeze.

Now let's begin to focus on giving and receiving from your heart.

Inhaling I receive love,

Exhaling I let go without expectations.

Inhale I receive love,

Exhale I let go and send love back.

Everything in this world is poison or medicine depending on how much you take and what you use it for.

I'm going to teach you how to take a little bit of that poison from the pain just like a vaccine.

You take a little bit of the poison and you help build up some immunity and resilience to resist that disease so you go back and experience just a little bit and allow yourself to feel that pain that you froze.

Your heart will finally be able to open and to let go to new experiences and to new intimacy.

So now I want you to take this moment and do something very powerful and flip the script on the past.

I want you to visualize the person you first felt abandoned with when you first learned to shut your heart down and lock the door.

Visualize them as if they're standing right in front of you and feel how your body shuts down.

Your body never lies.

You're not going to change this just by changing your beliefs and your thought patterns.

You have to feel where you became frozen in your body.

Now take an inhale and breathe in and notice what that person elicits in your body.

Inhale.

Maybe it's sadness or grief or you tighten up.

It's okay.

Whatever you feel,

Even if you can't feel,

Even if it's scary,

Breathe in.

If it's too scary,

Breathe it in,

Giving yourself permission and exhale.

Let it go and take three breaths right now.

Inhaling.

I breathe in this difficult feeling or emotion for everyone else who has ever felt this way and exhaling I send cooling relief to everyone else who has ever felt this way.

I'm not alone.

I'm not isolated in this pain.

Inhale.

I breathe in this difficult feeling.

I let it open and melt inside of me and exhale.

I send cooling relief to everyone else who has ever felt this way.

Inhale one last time.

Inhale.

I breathe in.

If that person is standing right in front of me,

I am retraining my body that it's okay.

It's okay.

I don't have to shut down or put up a wall.

Now exhale and send that cooling relief back.

Now I want you to take three new deep breaths.

Deep breaths.

New energy in.

Inhale.

I'm worthy of receiving new love and vulnerability and intimacy.

Exhale.

I'm worthy of giving love back.

Inhale.

Breathing in.

Now that you've opened the door to your heart,

I'm worthy of receiving love.

Exhale.

I'm worthy of giving love back and inhale.

I'm not afraid of new experiences and a happier future and exhale.

I can give and I can share.

Take a moment now and open your eyes.

Do you feel different?

By doing this meditation,

We can begin to create a world where we connect and we feel compassion.

Instead of isolating around these stuck places in ourselves,

These intimacy blocks,

The shame.

Instead of isolating,

Just know that we're here to have this deeper love,

Deeper intimacy that comes from being able to feel pain and love beyond that pain.

This deeper love is a resilient love and the reward is keeping your heart open and using the muscle to give and receive love.

Flip that script on all that's been programmed into you,

Getting out of your head and into your body.

Own your desires so that you can live the life that your soul came to live in this world.

Go from living in black and white and smallness to living in technicolor.

Each of us is a soul that came to live a special purpose in this world and by doing this meditation,

You will remember to have your soul be the ruler of your life and make choices from this fearless place of wonderment and innocence.

There's three ways you can use this beautiful meditation.

You can use it daily as a practice to keep opening your heart and letting go of the past.

The second is if you have someone you want to forgive and then you can do it for a specific period of time until you feel like you had a breakthrough.

And then the third is right on the spot.

If you find yourself in a moment with an emotional reaction like anger,

You can use this meditation to feel your emotions without reacting.

It'll help you from shutting down or going into fight,

Flight,

Or freeze.

Use it any time on the spot when you see yourself shutting down and locking down from fear.

It'll help you move through that feeling into love,

Into compassion,

And into intimacy.

Living with your soul,

Making the decisions,

Means that you will begin to live your dreams.

Whether that's success in your career,

Going after the things you want,

Or attracting the right partner,

Or finally feeling worthy of being loved or being a better parent.

Whatever it is,

This will help you open that door and break down any shame so you can have deeper intimacy and a deeper connection with mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Reclaim,

Reclaim your life.

Enjoy this and do it anytime you want.
