This short meditation is for anyone who needs a pause in the middle of a long day. You know those days that feel like they’re never going to end - when you’re caught in the grind, feeling the weight of the everyday? I created this meditation with those moments in mind. It’s a gentle space to rest and reset, and to find your happy place again — if you can. There’s no pressure and no expectations here, just something soft to help you through a hard day. Well,

Hello there.

Welcome to Celestial Gems.

I'm Gem,

And I'll be your guide.

For today,

We're just stopping for a short moment to rest and reset.

To find your happy place and break up the day.

Whether you are in your car,

Break room,

Or a quiet place at home,

Thank you for joining me.

I kindly ask,

If possible for you,

To gently close your eyes.

But that's okay if you can't.

Maybe simply stare at a spot in front of you,

Like a table or the wall.

Or,

You could choose to glance at your feet for the next little bit.

Whatever feels comfortable to you.

When ready,

It might be nice to start with a breath.

Just a gentle,

Soft breath in through the nose.

It feels good,

Doesn't it?

To just take a moment for yourself.

There's no pressure or expectations here.

You are perfect,

Just as you are.

If you like,

Let's do that again.

This time,

If you can,

Consciously follow the breath.

Where does it go?

All the way to your belly?

Just to your chest?

Notice any feelings or sensations that pop up.

Let's breathe in together one last time.

As you continue to follow your breath,

See if you can breathe in just a little deeper.

Not to worry if you can't.

It isn't a challenge or a task.

Just something to notice and expand on,

If possible.

Let's just sit here for a moment.

And B,

Feeling the sensations throughout your entire body as your mind turns inwards.

Can you feel your body as it begins to melt into the inner world?

Notice the sounds around you becoming fainter,

More distant.

As you slowly move between worlds.

I'd like to remind you that there is no right or wrong here.

No judgements.

Just you.

Just us.

Your breath.

Your body.

How does your body feel right now?

Are you clenching or gripping tightly?

If able,

See if you can unclench your hands and give your fingers a little wiggle.

Are your shoulders inching closer and closer to your ears?

Maybe shrug them a couple of times,

Just to loosen any tensions there.

And when it feels right to you,

Allow them to drop naturally.

Notice now where your tongue is.

Is it at the roof of your mouth?

Maybe lower it.

Just to see how that feels.

Note what your teeth are doing.

Are they gritted together?

Maybe unclench your jaw.

Opening your mouth wide,

If that feels okay with you.

Giving it a nice,

Gentle stretch.

And then as you close,

Keep a small gap between your teeth.

Do you notice any other tensions or blockages?

It might be nice to take a gentle breath in,

And internally guide that breath to those areas.

As you breathe out,

Imagine everything relaxing and clearing.

I invite you now to welcome in the memories of a recent time where you laughed or smiled.

Maybe you laughed so hard your stomach hurt or your eyes watered.

Maybe it was just a chuckle or a low,

Hidden breath out in appreciation.

Maybe it was a simple smile,

A smirk that secretly crept onto your cheeks.

Think about the joy,

How the feeling rose up in your body and exploded like fireworks outwards.

Joy,

However,

Doesn't always have to be a parade of emotions.

It can be small and quick,

A fleeting moment that echoes throughout our nervous system.

Notice your body and any sensations that may have popped up.

And if you happen to start smiling or laughing again,

Just let it happen.

As you ponder this memory,

Think about where you were.

Using your mind's eye,

See the settings around you.

Were you inside?

In a garden?

A familiar place?

Or a new environment?

Remember what it was like being there.

Who was surrounding you?

Friends?

Family?

Your tribe?

A pet?

Your plants?

How do you feel when you're around them?

See if you can remember what it felt like to be around them.

Stand there in that moment again and let yourself just be.

Be held by the happiness in that moment.

Be held by the ones or things that contributed to that joy.

Be held in the knowing that these positive feelings live inside you.

It is an endless source that exists and is available to you any time you choose to seek it.

I would like to acknowledge that sometimes connecting to that inner source can feel very difficult.

And I want to let you know that that's perfectly alright.

Please don't be hard on yourself if it feels out of reach today or any day.

There is no need to force it.

At times,

We simply feel numb or disconnected.

And that too is a part of being human.

For now,

Just allow whatever is present to be enough.

You are enough.

Gently notice your body and any sensations or the quiet absence of them.

Take a soft breath in through the nose.

And if it feels right to you,

Hold on to the imagery of you laughing and smiling.

Again,

If you can,

Take a breath in.

Allowing the imagery and emotions,

If they're present,

To pour over you.

Like cold water on a hot day.

One more breath in.

And this time,

See if you can take that breath just a little deeper.

And allow your exhale to come out of your mouth with a little bit of noise.

Like a sigh.

It's time now to return to the waking world.

When you feel ready,

We'll need to slowly wake up the body.

We can do this by stretching out our arms and legs,

If that's possible for you.

Or just giving your fingers and toes a gentle wiggle.

As you do this,

Begin to notice the sounds within the room.

Letting them come forward one by one.

As though you're slowly turning up the volume on the TV.

When you feel ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Or let your gaze wander around the room to refocus your vision and return to the present moment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking this short moment for yourself.

You are a masterpiece.

Don't ever forget it.

Until we meet again,

Goodbye my kindred friend.

Www.

Mooji.
