Close your eyes if you wish and be comfortable.

Take a breath and hold it in for four seconds.

Now release that breath and hold for four seconds.

Now breathe normally and adjust your position to be really comfortable.

Breathe in then as you breathe out slowly imagine all the stale breath inside you releasing.

Breathe in positivity and breathe out negativity.

Breathe in positivity and then breathe out negativity.

As you breathe in and out think about your toes and fingers really relax them.

Now think about your neck and shoulders and as you breathe in and out feel any tension flow away.

Breathing in and breathing out.

I will ask you to join me in this relaxed place but as you come towards me I ask you to leave your baggage at the door.

Any physical pain or problems leave them outside you don't need them here.

Any thoughts or worries any beliefs or values you don't need them in this place.

Bring nothing,

No concepts,

No woman or mother or daughter,

No man or father or son,

No job title,

No status,

No fears,

No plans.

Leave the psychological part of the mind or the ego outside.

Turn in towards yourself.

Leave behind all the usual noises of the mind.

Pay attention to that sense in you that is behind the thoughts.

Your mind will try to engage you.

There will be thoughts coming.

The more you try to ignore your thoughts the more insistent they may become.

But don't give up.

There is always a space between the thoughts that is just a sense of being.

That is your true self.

Your intuition.

Your gut feeling.

Your higher consciousness.

It just is.

Whatever is going on with the thoughts ignore it.

Come back to that inner sense of being.

Relax there.

Your mind may become bored or tell you it's boring.

Thoughts may come about dinner tonight or some plan for tomorrow.

Just ignore that.

It's a bad habit we have cultivated.

Be aware of it and remain quiet and don't feed it.

Ignore it.

You are empty.

Take out thoughts,

Desire,

Sensations,

Memories,

Feelings,

Body image.

Something is left here that cannot be seen.

Something is left here that cannot be taken out.

Concentrate only on this self.

A state of being.

Simple.

A sense of being.

Don't let it connect with the floating thoughts.

Persevere.

Remain quiet.

This is a natural state of being.

It has no colour,

No religion,

Not woman,

Not man,

Not Chinese,

Not English,

No shape.

You can exist without the troublesome mind and thoughts.

Be open to discover this.

The inner true self or spirit cannot be hurt or get ill.

It is life itself.

Try this meditation.

Try this meditation each day for a few minutes.

Sometimes thoughts come and it seems too hard.

Keep trying.

After a while you will be able to visit your true self more and more.

This is where your truth and wisdom sits.

It is home.

Stillness.

Peace.

Love.

It is always within you and you can always tap into it with a quiet mind.
