This practice is focused on moving from over-striving to gentle effort. In the yogic tradition, students are asked to balance effort (abhyasa) and letting go (vairagya). In this meditation we will explore these concepts and how to approach our practice with a quality of effort that is gentle rather than forceful or harsh. This practice may be particularly helpful for those who feel like they can't meditate "right" or feel self-critical when their mind wanders away.
