Hello and welcome.

Today we're going to discuss a topic that I think is quite relevant and popular and it is about body positivity and giving our bodies and the way we see our bodies a facelift.

We'll begin by taking a deep breath relaxing a little bit,

Breathing in through your nose and exhaling out of your mouth,

Giving yourself permission to rest for a little bit.

Maybe stretching your neck,

Moving it to the left,

Moving it to the right and if you're sitting down maybe giving your lower back a little stretch to your left and to your right.

Thanking your body for waking up today and for all it does for you.

Even when we're sleeping it is continuously at work protecting our organs,

Helping us to digest our foods properly.

Our bodies are amazing.

I'll begin with a quote by Louise Hay where she says,

If we really love ourselves everything in our life works.

Weight management and all things related to the number on that scale does not dictate who we are at all.

In fact for all we know you are someone's goal.

So before getting on the obsession track right as we think of our new year ahead as we think about all the desires of our hearts,

What we would like to manifest this year,

I welcome you to think differently about your bodies.

Beginning with embracing how beautiful it is.

You are someone's goal.

Embracing your edges,

Your perceived flaws and bearing into mind how important it is to surround ourselves with people,

Places and things that feel like the sun.

On average as adults we have 12,

000 to 60,

000 thoughts per day and yet 70 to 80 percent of these thoughts tend to be negative.

How do we reroute that and lessen those numbers?

It begins with the way we see ourselves and loving the way we see ourselves.

Louise Hay had a really beautiful quote that I remember listening to years ago where she says that she does an exercise when she looks herself in the mirror and says I love you I really do.

So I encourage you the next time you see yourself in the mirror insert your name and say I love you I really do.

Locking I with your eyes and seeing just how far your body has come and how it's kept you alive all these years and how kind it is to you even if you have aches and pains even if you have some doubts.

Today I encourage you to imagine melting away all those doubts the pain and the mental weight of weight.

Brene Brown one of my favorite social workers she says authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we're supposed to be and instead embracing who we are.

Embracing who you are.

Let's take a deep breath maybe give yourself a little hug touching your heart space and reminding yourself of how valuable and beautiful you are how far you've come and how beautiful your soul is.

Take that in with you and may you enjoy a beautiful day and an amazing year
