Welcome beautiful souls,

My name is Nancy,

Thank you for joining me today in this meditation on releasing weights from the past.

Sometimes it can be hard for us to let go,

Let go of old stories,

Let go of things that we are so used to but that no longer serve us.

Sometimes it's hard to let go even when those things aren't useful or good for us anymore,

Even when those things trigger us and keep us below the life we desire.

However,

One of the most life transforming decisions that you will ever make is letting go of what is harmful to your heart and soul.

So today we are going to practice to let go of all unnecessary weight so that you can soar and live the life of love and peace and abundance that you deserve.

I invite you to sit or lay down in a comfortable position,

Maybe move your shoulders a little bit back to open your chest,

Feel your body sink into the seat you are on,

Feel the ground holding you,

Supporting you.

Gently close your eyes or lower your gaze and focus on your breath.

Notice how the air flows into your nose with each new inhale.

Breathe at your own natural pace,

No need to change or control anything.

Breathe in and out.

Notice how old air leaves your body with each exhale effortlessly.

Don't try to change your breath,

Just notice.

Notice how your body intuitively knows how to inhale newness and exhale what doesn't serve it anymore.

Just like in nature,

The tree sheds its leaves every season and receives new budding leaves and fruit every season,

Fully trusting that there will always be all and more than enough.

As you breathe,

Relax your forehead,

Relax the point between your eyebrows and enjoy just breathing,

Watching your body breathe.

Say in your mind,

Thank you for my breath,

I am grateful for the ability to breathe.

Relax your shoulders,

Your upper arms,

Lower arms,

Relax your hands,

Each finger.

Say in your mind,

I let go,

I release,

Nicer.

Now repeat out loud or in your mind the following affirmations,

You may also just listen to it.

Today is a new day.

I am grateful that I am alive.

I give thanks for all that was and all that brought me to this place of rest.

I am safe.

I am grateful for everything I have learned.

I am at peace with what was,

What is and what will be.

Today I notice what does not belong in my life anymore and I let go.

I let go.

I let go of all that is hurting my heart and soul.

It is easy for me to release what doesn't serve me anymore.

I am making space for better things to come.

I have the strength to let go.

I release all old stories.

I release all that I do not want in my life anymore.

I am opening my hands and letting go.

I am letting go.

I am letting go.

I am making space.

I am making space.

I am making space in my life for better things to come.

I have the strength to let go.

I have let go before.

I am releasing with a grateful heart for what served me in the past.

I feel deep joy and gratitude for better days ahead.

I feel deep joy and gratitude as I envision better days ahead.

What is good for me will find me and stay with me.

What is good for me will bring me peace and joy.

Today is a new day.

I gracefully release all that does not belong to me anymore.

I gracefully release all that is not serving my highest good or the good of others.

I am love and I move and live in and through love.

Nice.

As we are closing our affirmations through your nose,

Take a deep breath into your belly.

Now a little bit more to your chest.

Hold it and slowly let it all go through your mouth.

Nice.

One more time.

Take a deep,

Gentle breath in.

Extend your belly now into your upper chest and let it all go through your mouth.

Feel as your weight is supported by the surface you are on,

How you are held,

How you are carried.

Maybe something came to your mind that you do not want in your life anymore.

Maybe something has been weighing heavily on you for days or weeks or even years and you know it's time to let go.

It's time to live freely.

Maybe it's an item,

Maybe it's a mindset,

Maybe it's an addiction,

A fear,

Maybe it's a story,

Maybe it's a grudge or a person.

I invite you to gift yourself freedom and lightness today.

How would you complete this sentence?

The right thing to let go of today is .

.

.

I invite you to envision the very thing that you would like to let go of and now sending kindness to the very thing you are releasing.

I invite you to take a deep breath in while you are opening your hands to release and say in your mind,

I am letting go.

Imagine watching that thing float out of your heart space and disappearing in front of your mind's eyes.

Nice.

Take another deep breath in and release the air through your mouth.

In closing notice how you feel.

Do you feel more at peace,

Lighter,

More at ease?

Very nice,

Well done.

Now I invite you to gift yourself a smile.

Send a loving smile to your own heart and notice how the corners of your mouth are lifting.

In your mind tell yourself,

I am proud of how far I have come.

I am proud that I am learning to let go.

Try to lift the corners of your mouth a little bit higher and gift yourself a beautiful smile.

Nice.

Thank you for seeking that place of stillness and reflection with me today.

The more you practice being still the greater the impact on your life and inner peace.

I hope and pray that your day and night is filled with reminders of how deeply loved,

Held and cherished you are.

Feel free to just rest in silence these last few minutes as you immerse in this healing melody.

You may return to this meditation any time.

And remember,

All will be well and the manner of all things will be well.

Sending you love and peace always,

My dear.
