This is a short guided affirmation practice. The meditation begins by inviting the listener to make the practice their own. Then the listener is introduced to a series of affirmations about self-acceptance and personal growth. They encompass self-awareness and acceptance; personal growth; and compassion and kindness. Essentially this meditation encourages listeners to embrace their authentic selves, learn from experiences, and cultivate a sense of inner peace and well-being. The beautiful ambient background music is Grace Of A Butterfly by the amazing Blossom Violet here on Insight Timer.

Hello and welcome to this guided meditation practice.

My name is Caitlin.

I would like to take a moment to remind you that meditation is a personal practice,

So please take whatever I say and make it your own.

Please feel free to alter this practice to suit your own needs and comfort.

Today I would like to introduce to you some affirmations about self-acceptance and personal growth.

Please find a comfortable position.

Close your eyes if that feels okay.

Focus on your breath.

Just notice however it is.

Now please accept the following as truths for you.

I can honor my complexity.

I value my capacity.

I can accept my emotions when my mood is low.

I recognize and hold space for the parts that feel good and feel bad.

I accept my flaws and my strengths.

I accept all of me unconditionally.

My story is powerful,

Unique,

And holds incredible value.

I utilize my talents.

I apply my learning.

I observe with openness.

My development continues over my lifetime.

I am expansive enough to hold space for myself and others.

I am big enough to validate myself and others' perspectives.

Now return your focus to your breath.

Gently begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.

If your eyes are closed,

You may open them now and slowly return to the space around you.

Thank you so much for joining me in this meditation today.

I am so glad you are here.

Namaste.
