Find a comfortable position,

Whether sitting or lying down,

You choose.

And when you feel safe,

Please close your eyes.

And take a moment to settle into this space,

Allowing your body and mind to relax.

You might want to get the alignment of your body right,

So if you need to move a little,

Please do so.

An alignment which is open and aware.

And now notice the feeling of body breathing.

Tune into your breath.

Notice the natural flow of your breath.

You don't need to change or force anything.

Simply,

Observing each inhale,

And simply observing each exhale.

And now we begin our meditation to connect with the source,

The source from which all existence flows.

The source is the entire universe.

In this moment,

Go within to that quiet place where we experience a connection to the higher self.

As we begin,

Let's ask ourselves,

What is congruence?

Congruence is integrity in one's actions and communications.

Congruence of thought,

Congruence of word,

And congruence of deed refers to the alignment or consistency between what one thinks,

What one says,

And what one does.

Congruence of thought,

Word,

And deed is often considered a mark of authenticity,

Integrity,

And ethical behavior.

Now,

I want you to bring a situation from the past.

A situation where your thoughts were not aligned with your innermost values.

A situation where you didn't maintain the integrity of your words.

A situation from the past where your actions were not congruent to your words and thoughts.

Perhaps,

A memory from the past where your unconscious desires to compromise your integrity.

And ask yourself these questions.

Why is it important for me to think as per my values?

Why should I maintain my words?

Why should I be congruent with my actions?

And now,

Imagine a situation where you are conscious of your thoughts.

Imagine a situation where you are maintaining your words.

Imagine a situation where your actions match what you say and what you think.

How does it feel not to compromise your integrity?

How would it feel to be congruent with your actions and words?

Perhaps,

A sense of inner trust.

Perhaps,

A sense of clarity.

Or perhaps,

A sense of alignment.

Imagine the effect you are going to have on others.

Imagine you are congruent and explore how it affects your environment.

Imagine you are non-congruent and explore how it affects your environment.

Noticing this contrasting difference.

And you will understand how important it is to move away from compromising your integrity.

And you will understand how important it is to move away from compromising your integrity.

Let's spend a moment focusing on today's centering thoughts.

I am aware of my thoughts.

I honor my words.

And I respect my actions.

I am aware of my thoughts.

I honor my words.

And I respect my actions.

I am aware of my thoughts.

I honor my words.

And I respect my actions.

And now,

Let go of any specific techniques.

Just simply allow yourself to sit quietly.

Just simply allow yourself to sit quietly.

Allowing yourself to be present as to whatever is arising in this present moment.

Bring hands in front of your heart.

And we will seal the practice today by bowing to ourselves and others.

Please take a breath in.

And breathe out.

Bowing yourself and others.

Thanks for practicing today.

Namaste.
