This calming audio session guides you through the scientifically grounded principles of nasal breathing, diaphragmatic control, and building carbon dioxide tolerance—all delivered in a gentle, easy-to-follow way. Ross explains how these techniques work to improve oxygen delivery, stimulate the vagus nerve, harness nitric oxide, and engage the diaphragm to support posture, spinal stability, and a deeper state of rest. With regular practice, these simple breathwork methods help reduce heart rate, lower blood pressure, ease anxiety, and shift your body out of stress and into the rest-and-digest state—where true healing and calm can begin.

Welcome to Breathe Right.

I want to share how this breath work,

Rooted in physiology,

Not fluff,

Can reset your body and calm your mind.

Let's start with the nose.

All this breathing is done through the nose,

Not the mouth.

When you breathe through your nose,

The air is warmed,

Humidified and filtered before reaching your lungs.

This protects your airways and makes oxygen uptake more efficient,

But that's just the beginning.

We're not supposed to breathe through our mouth.

It's dry,

Cold,

Unfiltered air,

And you can lose up to 40% more moisture breathing through your mouth.

Nasal breathing triggers the release of nitric oxide,

A gas that opens blood vessels,

Enhances oxygen delivery,

And has an antiviral and antibacterial property.

It's a natural way to support your immunity and circulation.

Now here's where the breath becomes chemistry.

Most people think carbon dioxide is just waste,

But it is in fact vital.

It allows oxygen to detach from red blood cells,

So it can be used by your brain and muscles.

This is known as the Bohr effect.

The higher your CO2 tolerance,

Which is achieved through nasal breathing,

The more efficiently oxygen gets delivered,

And studies show it can increase oxygen to the brain by up to 10% to 15%.

That is amazing for focus and clarity.

And here's something powerful.

CO2 helps activate the vagus nerve,

The nerve that signals your body to shift out of fight or flight and into rest and digest.

When this nerve is stimulated,

It slows your heart rate,

Lowers blood pressure,

And brings the mind into calm and a regulated state.

Breathing gently and low through the nose into the diaphragm also activates the vagus nerve and strengthens it over time.

The diaphragm is your key breathing muscle and a key core muscle.

Not only does the diaphragm stabilize the spine and increase your core strength,

It helps move lymphatic fluid,

Supporting detox and immune function.

Another hidden gem in your physiology is your spleen.

During light breath-hold training included in this app,

The spleen contracts and releases oxygen-rich blood cells into circulation,

Giving your body a boost in performance,

Endurance,

And clarity.

Think of it as tapping into an internal oxygen reserve.

So with this breath work,

You're improving oxygenation to your brain and body,

Stimulating your vagus nerve to calm the mind and slow your heart,

Supporting your immune and lymphatic systems,

Building resilience under stress mentally and physically.

This is science-backed breath training for real-life results.

Whether you're here for calm,

Better sleep,

Focus,

Increased sexual performance,

Or recovery,

You're in the right place.

Explore the sessions and start now.

This is your breath.

Let's breathe right.

I happened on this by accident, there is much I did not know about nasal breathing. I need to address my vagus nerve for health reasons and this is a great place to start. Thank you 🙏
