Welcome,
Dear soul,
To the strength in softening.
Take a slow,
Generous breath in,
And exhale softly.
Let your shoulders fall,
Let your jaw loosen,
Let your belly soften,
Let your entire being soften for this meditation.
Today you journey into the sacred truth that softness is not weakness.
It is strength of the highest order,
The strength to release what is heavy,
The strength to trust what you feel,
The strength to enter your heart without armor.
So take a deep breath in,
And slowly breathe it out.
Let your whole body begin to settle into the safety of this moment.
Now let's take in two deep breaths.
Exhale first completely.
Now take a deep breath into your belly.
Let your ribs expand on this inhale,
Awareness to your heart.
And exhale,
Let everything fall away.
Again,
Take a deep breath into your belly.
Let your ribs expand on this inhale,
Awareness to your heart.
And exhale,
Let everything fall away.
Now as you breathe,
Imagine you're drawing energy up from the earth,
And with each exhale,
Letting any tension melt out through your hands,
Your jaw,
Your chest.
Feel into the ground beneath you,
Supportive,
Steady,
Unshaken.
Feel the air around you,
Gentle,
Spacious,
Holding you.
With each breath,
Let yourself soften,
Softening into the truth that you don't have to carry everything alone.
Now imagine you're standing in a vast meadow at dusk.
The sky is painted in soft golds and amethyst purples.
The air is warm,
Still,
And the earth hums beneath your feet.
This is the realm where the heart reveals its wisdom,
Where the soul whispers,
Where strength is felt as softness,
Openness,
And surrender.
As you take a step forward,
The grass brushes against your legs,
The wind curls around your fingers,
And warmth begins to bloom within your chest,
A reminder that tenderness is a power,
A medicine,
A way home.
As you walk,
You feel the armor around you loosen,
The tightness in the mind,
The holding in the chest,
The bracing of the nervous system all releasing,
And with each breath,
You soften deeper and deeper into yourself.
Up ahead on the path,
You see a single glowing stone,
Round,
Warm,
Pulsating like a living heart.
You kneel beside it,
Place your hands upon it.
You feel its warmth entering your palms,
Traveling up your arms,
Moving into your chest.
This light is the strength you have forgotten,
The strength of letting go,
The strength of receiving,
The strength of being human and holy at the same time.
As you breathe,
The light expands inside you,
Spreading down your spine,
Across your ribs,
Into your belly,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Your whole body.
You whisper inwardly,
It is safe to soften.
It is powerful to soften.
My softness is my strength.
With every breath,
Something shifts,
An old layer unravels,
A tightness dissolves,
A new layer forms,
A heaviness lifts.
Let the breath carry it out,
Like smoke leaving the body,
Like water releasing a riverbank after rain.
Keep breathing,
Keep softening,
Keep surrendering to your own gentle power.
With every breath,
Softening is returning.
With every breath,
Softening is remembering.
With each breath,
Softening is strengthening.
And the more you soften,
The more you feel your true self rising up,
Rising up steady,
Rising up calm,
Luminous,
Rising up open.
The glow within you never fades away.
It is moving within you,
Becoming part of your heart,
Part of your breath,
Part of your presence.
You stand lighter,
More spacious,
More alive.
As you walk back through the meadow,
Your steps are softer,
Your heart is wider,
Your energy clear and grounded.
Feel your body here again.
Feel your breath.
Feel the power moving through you.
Today,
You have remembered a truth,
That your strength lives in softness.
Carry this tenderness into your life,
Knowing that it is your power,
Your medicine,
And your path home.
Blessings on your journey.
Namaste.
