Welcome,
Dear soul,
To this Reiki self-healing meditation,
A space where nothing is to be forced.
This is a time to remember something essential,
That your body carries wisdom,
And your system knows how to heal when it feels safe,
When it feels listened to,
When it feels trusted.
Remember this always,
You do not need to do Reiki correctly,
You do not need to concentrate or try.
Reiki flows through willingness,
Openness,
And allowing,
Not through effort.
So take a moment to make yourself more comfortable,
Lying down or seated,
Allowing the body to be fully supported.
Let the surface beneath you carry your weight,
And if it feels right,
Allow the eyes to close gently,
Turning inward.
Begin by noticing your breath just as it is,
Notice where it moves most easily,
Perhaps the belly,
The ribs,
Or the chest.
Allow the inhale to begin to arrive slowly through the nose,
And the exhale to release softly through the mouth.
Keep with this,
Inhaling through the nose with ease,
Exhaling through the mouth,
Releasing.
With each exhale,
You send a quiet message to the body,
That you are safe now,
That you are allowed to soften.
Feel your shoulders drop,
The jaw releasing,
Unclenching,
Notice your belly is relaxed.
Healing always begins here,
In safety,
Now gently bring your awareness to your hands,
There is no need to move them yet,
Simply notice them resting,
Your awareness to the energy within them.
I will now call in Reiki to flow gently to support your energy,
Bringing in vitality and grounding,
And physical energy,
I call in Chokurei for supporting your physical healing,
And I call in Seiki to gently harmonise emotions held stuck within the body,
Not activating,
Not visualising,
Just allowing the steady supportive qualities of Chokurei and Seiki to be present.
Silently,
If you wish,
Allow this intention to form,
I invite Reiki energy to flow now for my highest good.
Reiki softly flows through your system,
Bringing emotional harmony,
Nervous system balance and integration between body,
Mind and soul,
Reiki now flows with intelligence,
Now bring your awareness into your body,
Feel the energy flowing,
Allow your hands now to move or rest where they feel naturally drawn,
Follow your intuition,
There is no right place,
There is no wrong place,
And it will be different every time you do this,
I will simply just offer some suggestions,
And you can follow them or follow your own intuition,
Perhaps your head,
Offering to calm the mind,
Perhaps the throat,
Supporting expression and release,
Perhaps the heart,
Bringing warmth and reassurance,
Wherever your hands rest,
Pause there,
Let Reiki flow,
Chokurei is supporting your physical healing,
Chokurei is supporting your cellular vitality,
As your hands feel called to move,
Let them move slowly,
Intuitively,
Naturally,
Reiki gently harmonises all emotions held or stuck in the body,
You might place your hands on your belly,
The hips,
The chest,
Or any area asking for attention,
And if nothing calls out,
That's perfectly ok,
As you breathe slow breaths,
You can feel into your whole body,
You see healing does not require sensation,
I will now leave you for a while to breathe,
Feel and heal,
Quiet breathing and receiving,
Listening to your body,
And your body being listened to,
When you feel complete,
Allow your hands to come rest comfortably on your belly or heart,
Reiki continues to flow,
Even without movement,
Feel into your whole body,
How your body feels now,
Not judging,
Just noticing,
There may be softness,
Stillness,
Or a subtle sense of energy within,
Or of balance returning,
Trust whatever is present for you,
Your body has heard you,
Now let these affirmations land slowly within you,
My body knows how to heal,
I trust the wisdom within me,
I allow healing to unfold naturally,
I listen to my body with kindness,
I am supported in this process,
Now take a slow nourishing breath in,
And release it gently,
Reiki continues to integrate,
Long after this meditation finishes and the words fade,
When you are ready,
Slowly return your awareness,
You are learning to listen to your body,
And that is healing,
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Give gratitude to Reiki,
Give gratitude to yourself,
