Welcome,
Dear soul,
To this Reiki self-healing for physical pain.
I'm a Reiki grandmaster,
And I'll be guiding you today through a self-Reiki practice.
This is your space,
Your time to return home to the healer within you.
As you settle in,
Know this,
The healing you seek already lives inside you.
You are not broken,
You are becoming.
And today,
Through your breath,
Your hands,
And your intention,
You will awaken your own Reiki energy to support,
Soothe,
And lovingly tend to the areas of physical discomfort in your body.
Let this be a moment of deep remembering that you are both the channel and the source.
You are the healer,
You are the light,
And you can do this practice as often as you like.
Now gently close your eyes,
And let's begin.
Make sure you're in a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
And begin to connect with your breath.
Let each inhale be soft,
Gentle,
And nourishing,
And each exhale a letting go.
Inhale calm,
Exhale tension.
Inhale presence,
Exhale resistance.
Now bring your awareness into your body.
Scan gently from the crown of your head,
Down through your face and jaw,
To your neck and shoulders.
Notice feeling softening.
Continue your scan down through your arms,
Into your hands,
Down through your chest,
Your belly,
Your hips,
Legs,
And feet.
Now intuitively go back to a place in your body that is asking for support.
The area you noticed where there was some physical pain,
Or perhaps tension,
Or tightness.
There is no need to fix.
Just notice,
And be with it.
Bring your loving awareness to this part of you,
Knowing that it could be a different place each time,
And sometimes it is a surprise as to the area that is coming up.
Now just be with it.
And now breathe with it,
As if your breath could touch this place.
Breathing softly,
With presence and acceptance.
Now gently bring your hands together,
And begin to rub your palms softly and slowly.
Feel the warmth begin to build.
Feel the subtle buzzing and the tingling and aliveness in your hands.
You are activating your energy field.
You are awakening your Reiki flow.
Now slowly separate your hands just an inch or a few centimeters apart,
And begin to feel the energy between your hands.
You might sense the energy of heat,
Notice tingling,
Or pulsing,
Maybe even a magnetic resistance.
Let your hands just move gently and slightly in and out with this pulsing.
This is your energy.
This is your light.
Now imagine a glowing orb forming between your hands.
Maybe your hands are moving in and out a little bit further away.
As long as you are feeling the energy,
Let your hands move to where they want to move.
You are creating a Reiki energy ball.
Continue with your breathing and this pulsing.
With your eyes closed,
Perhaps you see a glowing,
A soft golden,
Or any color that feels healing to you.
See this energy in your mind's eye.
With each breath,
Feel it and see it growing stronger,
Brighter,
Warmer,
Infused with love,
With healing,
And with intention.
I invite you now to whisper to it,
I now create this Reiki energy ball for physical healing.

It knows where to go.

As you continue letting this energy grow,
Hold this energy with reverence.
You made this,
It is you,

Now gently place your hands on or just above the area of physical pain.
Feel the Reiki energy from within your hands flowing through into your body,
Into this area.
Imagine the healing energy entering the space beneath your hands,
Flowing into the tissue,
Into the bones,
Into your cells.
Soothing,
Softening,
Restoring.
Breathe with it,
And stay with it.
If your mind wanders,
Gently return to your breath and your hands.
Whisper within as you keep with this,
Healing is flowing where it is needed,
Healing is flowing where it is needed.

Every breath brings relief,

I am safe in my body,

Now visualize this healing light filling the space,
Dissolving the pain,
Easing the tension,
And bringing in softness and spaciousness.
Let your hands become a radiant tool of your own transformation.
As you keep with this,

Now slowly remove your hands and rest them over your heart.
Take a deep breath in and gently release it.
Feel the echo of the energy still flowing within you into your heart space.
It will continue long after this practice ends.
Give gratitude now to your body,

Trust in the healing that is happening within you.
Thank your hands for remembering their wisdom,
And thank yourself for choosing this path of self-healing,
Self-love.

Let's finish now with one final affirmation to echo in your heart.
