To Nervous System Regulation number 31,
Today we're regulating with affirmations.
Take a moment to arrive.
Emotional regulation is not about shutting feelings down,
But about restoring your capacity to feel without becoming overwhelmed.
Today,
These affirmations gently support the nervous system in expanding its range,
Allowing emotions to move,
To settle,
And resolve naturally within the body.
You can access patience,
Compassion,
And clarity when the nervous system feels safe,
That's right,
And when the body feels safe,
Emotional range returns.
So today,
We regulate first,
So emotions can flow naturally again.
If you haven't already,
Find your comfortable position,
Either seated or laying down,
Let your body be supported,
And allow your shoulders to soften.
Take a slow breath in through the nose,
And release it gently through the mouth,
Another slow breath in through the nose,
And releasing out through your mouth.
Your nervous system is already listening.
I invite you to place one hand on your chest,
And one on your belly.
Feeling your own presence here,
This itself is co-regulation.
Now inhale slowly through the nose for 4,

Exhale through the mouth,

Keep with these slow breaths,
The long exhale signals safety into the body,
That's right,
Breathing these slow breaths in through the nose for 4,
And exhale through the mouth,

Your body knows.
Let your jaw soften now,
Let the shoulders drop,
Let the belly release,
And now the body is ready to receive.
Let's start with the first set of affirmations for safety,
