Hi,

This is Frankie,

And welcome to this meditation.

This is a meditation to connect us deeper and deeper with Mother Earth.

To ground us into Mother Earth,

We will start with some humming,

And you can just hum along with me.

You can be louder,

Or softer,

Or faster,

Or slower,

But just hum while I'm humming,

And then I'll let you know when it's time to stop the humming.

And now you can release the humming,

Just take a moment to feel into your heart,

And feeling into your breath,

Perhaps watching your inhale and your exhale,

Just feeling into you,

And now feeling into your relationship with Mother Earth.

Today we acknowledge and give thanks to Mother Earth.

We invoke you,

Mother Earth,

To help us feel into your energy today,

And more and more each day.

We give special thanks to the traditional peoples of this land,

Peoples that lived in this part of Mother Earth,

Loving the land for more than 50,

000 years.

We send our respect to all their generations,

Past,

Present,

And future.

And we send our respect to all our generations,

All our elders,

All our past,

Present,

And future generations.

We send our respect and we give thanks to all the elders and the traditional shamanic peoples of planet Earth.

We pray that their collective teachings may go on and on into future generations.

We pray today and every day that humans embrace the teachings of you,

Mother Earth,

And the teachings of all the ancestors.

We pray that you show us more and more how to look after you,

Mother Earth.

Hatchamama,

Mother Earth,

We give you thanks and we acknowledge you today.

Without you,

We do not exist.

So please teach us to walk softer and softer on you,

Planet Earth.

Teach us your ways.

Teach us,

Mother of us all,

So we can show you more kindness each day.

You are our all-giving Mother.

Help us to connect to you and all your elements,

The water,

The fire,

The air,

Spirit,

And earth.

Element of water,

We give you thanks.

Water,

You give us life.

Our bodies are more than 90% water,

And we acknowledge that without water on planet Earth,

We simply would not exist.

I invite you now to visualize a calm body of water.

This could be a lake,

A pool in a river,

Or the ocean.

Feel the coolness and the fluidity of water.

Mother Earth is covered with water.

She has an abundance of water,

And it's her water that gives life to all on this planet.

Imagine yourself merging with the water,

Becoming one with its gentle flow.

Imagine your breath becoming one with the flow,

Slowly in and out of your body.

And you're releasing all and any tension or stress,

And you're letting it go into the water.

Breathe out,

All your tension dissolves.

And as you connect with the soothing and purifying qualities of the water,

It washes away all you don't need.

I invite you to stay in this state of immersion of the water,

Embracing the tranquility of its energy,

And just being with the element of water.

And during this time,

Take some time to offer gratitude to the element of water.

Fire.

Let's take a few breaths in and out of our body,

Acknowledging that without fire we would not exist.

Bringing in an acknowledgement for the fire element.

The element our ancestors tamed for our use to cook and to warm us.

And they did this 150,

000 years ago.

Take a few deep breaths into this element.

The element of fire,

And imagine a fire within you.

Visualize standing in front of a fire.

Feel the warmth of the flames radiating within you.

Feel the heat and intensity of the fire that warms you on a cold night.

The fire element enables you to cook.

And we also have our own internal fire.

Each day,

Your internal fire allows your own flame to ignite within.

I invite you to let it grow and expand,

Filling your entire being with passion and energy.

When you embrace the transformation,

The power of fire,

You can visualize it burning away any negative or limiting beliefs.

Bask now in the subtle heat and strength of the fire element.

Imagine sitting around a fire,

And it is warming you.

And it is burning within you.

Take some time now to offer gratitude to the fire element.

The element of air.

Let's take three deep breaths of air in and out of our body.

Deep inhale,

And slow exhale.

Deep inhale,

And slow exhale.

One more inhale,

And let it go.

Just acknowledge that without air,

We would not exist.

Bring in an acknowledgement and gratitude for the air that gives you life.

Notice now and observe air coming in,

Entering your body,

Filling your lungs with freshness and vitality.

And notice when you release the air,

It simply just flows out of you and goes into nature and changes itself so that you can breathe it once more.

Did you know that you breathe in and out the element of air 22,

000 times a day?

As you inhale,

Feel the gentle caress of air as it comes in to nourish your body.

And as you exhale,

You are releasing back to Mother Earth.

As you continue breathing,

You're becoming more aware of the interconnectedness of all beings through the air that we share.

Embrace the lightness and the freedom that comes with the air element.

As you stay in this state of connection with air,

I invite you to just observe and give gratitude to the air as it flows in and out of your body.

And now the element of spirit.

Take a few deep breaths and bring in an acknowledgement for the element of spirit and the life force energy within you.

As you inhale,

Visualize yourself drawing in positive energy,

Bringing in light and inspiration.

And with each exhale,

You are releasing negative energy and tension within your body.

Feel your spirit expanding and connecting with the vastness of the universe.

Tapping into the infinite possibilities that exist.

Feel into you your spirit that is in your body.

Feeling the boundless nature of your eternal spirit that exists through eternity.

Expand your awareness now.

Connect with your essence.

Connect with your spirit.

You can let go of any fears or doubts that are holding you back in this life.

Now take some time to offer gratitude for the element of spirit that is within you.

Pachamama,

Planet Earth,

Our home planet in this life,

The soil that is beneath us.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Mother Earth,

For letting us have this life on this planet.

Now visualize yourself surrounded by nature.

It's up to you where you want to go.

Our Mother Earth has so many beautiful places to visualize.

You could visualize being in a lush forest,

A beautiful meadow,

In front of or on top of a majestic mountain,

Watching a volcano erupting,

A river flowing down to the sea with a beautiful waterfall,

The ocean.

So many beautiful places on planet Earth.

You can go anywhere.

And maybe you just want to sit in the shade of your favorite tree.

Feel the grounding and nurturing energy of the Earth beneath you.

Connect with the stability it provides.

Imagine roots extending from your body,

Reaching deep into the Earth,

Anchoring you firmly into Mother Earth.

Allow yourself to absorb the energy of the Earth,

The vitality and the strength releasing any instability or restlessness within you.

Bring into your life this state,

This energy,

This grounding energy of the Earth.

And now I'll give you some time to give gratitude to Mother Earth.

We will now bring back the humming again.

And as you hum,

You're harmonizing the elements into your body.

Just relax and let's start humming.

Letting go of the humming,

I invite you to take a few moments to reflect on your experience.

And while you're reflecting on your experience,

Feel any sensations and emotions or insights that arose during the practice.

Once again we give special thanks to the traditional peoples that lived in this part of Mother Earth.

We send our respect to all their generations past,

Present and future.

We send our respect to all personal generations,

Our elders past,

Present and future.

We send respect and we give thanks to all the elders and all the shamanic peoples of planet Earth.
