Hi,

Frankie here.

Welcome beautiful soul to this inner child meditation,

Re-parenting your inner child.

This is part of a powerful series I've designed to help you reconnect and heal your inner child.

Each meditation in this series focuses on a different aspect of inner child work.

From healing emotional wounds to re-discovering joy,

Offering forgiveness and reclaiming your inner strength.

By nurturing your inner child,

You create a foundation of self-love,

Confidence and emotional freedom.

During these meditations,

If or when emotions come up,

Just let them flow and hug yourself and your inner child.

You can also push pause or come back tomorrow to be with you.

Take a moment to settle in.

Bring in the knowing that this is a safe space for you to heal,

Grow and let go.

Take a deep breath in and slowly release it.

One more,

Breathe in deeply and let it go.

Feel your breath beginning to settle into a slow,

Steady,

Easy rhythm.

Let your body soften.

Feel your shoulders relaxing,

Your jaw releasing.

Let your hands rest gently by your side.

Feel the muscles in your face softening.

Let your belly relax.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more supported.

Feel yourself becoming more grounded and at ease.

Now bring your awareness to your heart centre.

Feel the soft rise and fall of your chest.

Begin to imagine a soft golden light forming in your heart.

This light is warm,

Soothing and calm.

The energy of unconditional love.

The energy of inner peace.

With each inhale,

Feel this golden light growing stronger.

With each exhale,

Feel it spreading through your body.

Down your arms,

Through your hands,

All the way into your feet and legs.

All the way up through to the crown of your head.

Let this light surround you,

Filling you with comfort and safety.

Now I invite you to gently begin to visualise your inner child standing before you.

See your inner child as clearly as possible.

Perhaps they are five,

Six or seven years old.

Or maybe another age comes to mind.

Perhaps younger,

Perhaps older.

Notice how they look.

Notice the expression on their face.

Do they look sad?

Do they look lost or confused?

Do they seem guarded or hesitant?

Or are they reaching out towards you?

Slowly walk towards them.

Kneel down so you are at eye level.

Gently take their hand and say,

I see you.

I'm here with you.

You are safe now.

Notice how they respond.

They may be hesitant.

They may look down.

Or they may step towards you immediately.

Whatever arises is perfect.

You are here now.

Now gently ask your inner child,

What do you need?

What did you need that you didn't receive?

What would have made you feel safe and loved?

Let the answers naturally arise.

You may remember needing to feel comforted when you were scared.

Perhaps you needed someone to hold your hand and tell you it's okay.

You may have needed to have been seen,

Heard,

And accepted just as you were.

Whatever arises,

Allow it to surface.

Hold space for it.

If you feel sadness,

Breathe into it.

If you feel heaviness or a lump in your throat,

Let it arise without judgment.

You are safe now.

Now say to your inner child,

I'm sorry you didn't receive what you needed.

I'm sorry you felt alone.

I'm sorry you had to figure things out by yourself.

You didn't deserve to feel that way.

Now feel the golden light in your heart beginning to grow brighter.

Feel it radiating towards your inner child.

Surrounding them with warmth and comfort.

See their shoulders softening.

See the tension in their face beginning to fade.

Now gently take the hand and say,

I'm going to give you what you need now.

I'm going to protect you.

I'm going to take care of you.

You are not alone anymore.

Now imagine gathering your inner child into your arms.

Hold them close.

Let them feel the warmth of your breath.

Let them feel the steady beat of your heart.

Say to them,

I will always love you.

You don't need to earn love.

You don't need to be perfect to be loved.

You are safe with me.

Now imagine standing up while holding your inner child.

Carry them to a safe,

Beautiful place.

Maybe it's a soft meadow,

A beach,

Or a cozy room with a fire gently burning in the background.

Let them rest in your arms.

Place your hand over their heart and say,

You are allowed to feel all your emotions.

You are allowed to express yourself fully.

You are allowed to rest.

You don't have to try anymore.

Ask your inner child,

What else do you need?

What would make you feel completely safe?

Let the answers naturally arise from within.

Maybe they need to be held longer.

Maybe they need to hear that they're loved.

Even when they make mistakes.

Maybe they need reassurance that they will never be left behind again.

Give them what they need now.

Speak the words they've longed to hear.

Wrap them in the golden light.

Gently say to them,

I will protect you now.

I will listen to you.

I will love you no matter what.

You are never alone again.

Feel your inner child beginning to breathe more easily.

See their posture straightening.

See the light in their eyes returning.

Feel the connection growing between you.

Imagine your inner child beginning to glow with the golden light.

See them shining from within.

Radiating safety,

Peace and love.

Gently place them down and kneel before them.

Let them know you are safe now.

You are loved.

You don't need to prove yourself anymore.

You are enough exactly as you are.

See your inner child smiling.

See their eyes shining with trust and peace.

See them standing taller.

Feeling whole and supported.

Now imagine your inner child beginning to merge with the golden light.

Becoming you.

Feel their strength.

Feel their confidence.

Feel their ease returning.

Feel it anchoring in your heart.

Now take a deep breath in and release it slowly.

Feel the peace of knowing that you are whole.

Feel the strength of knowing you can give yourself what you need.

You are now the loving,

Safe parent you always needed.

That's right,

You are the safe parent you always needed.

Now gently bring your awareness back into your body.

Feel the surface beneath you.

The softness of your breath.

Wriggle your fingers and toes.

Feel the warmth of your hands and your feet.

When you're ready,

Slowly opening your eyes.

With the feeling of safety and peace within you.

Know that you are no longer seeking love and approval from outside yourself.

You have it within.

You are whole.

You are loved.

And you are enough.
