Hi,

This is Frankie and welcome to this practice that focuses on ancestral trauma and healing our DNA.

Find yourself in a comfortable space where you can relax without any distractions,

Sitting or laying down in a comfortable position.

And note,

You can also play and repeat this meditation as you sleep,

As often as you like.

During your sleep your subconscious mind will absorb everything.

Time to let go and relax.

Just be with yourself and just notice the rhythm of your own breathing.

Notice the way your chest rises and falls.

And now take a deep breath in and then release it.

And take another like that,

Nice big deep breath in and slowly let it out.

You're letting yourself relax.

Scientists now have an understanding that trauma can linger in DNA for at least 7 generations.

This means trauma can exist in our DNA from very distant relatives,

For most of us up to 200 years ago.

As you can imagine,

Life was very different for all of our ancestors and the trauma they would have endured through disease,

Wars,

Plagues and famines.

Take a moment to give thanks and give gratitude to your parents,

Your parents' parents and their parents and all those who have come before you,

All your ancestors.

Give thanks to them for giving you this life and thank the universe for this life.

And just take a breath in and just acknowledge your ancestors,

Just acknowledge that without any of them you wouldn't be here today.

Yet in the DNA they have passed down to you,

There is still all the traumas that they had to go through.

And today we will work on releasing these traumas from your DNA.

I now invite you to start with a gentle cyclical breath,

Gently inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.

You are connecting the inhale and the exhale and notice the difference between this and your normal breath,

These slow cyclical breaths.

Breathing in the nose and out the mouth,

Gentle cyclical breaths.

Feel yourself breathing slowly and rhythmically.

No need for super deep inhales or exhales,

Just slow connected breaths.

When the exhale finishes the inhale starts and when the inhale finishes the exhale starts.

Slow connected breaths.

And just notice the difference between your normal breaths and these slow cyclical breaths.

Breathing in the nose and out the mouth,

Gentle cyclical breaths.

Feel yourself breathing slowly and rhythmically.

There is no need for deep inhales or deep exhales,

Just slow connected breaths.

And as you are listening to my voice you are relaxing and you are beginning to feel a sense of comfort and as you get more and more comfortable you are becoming more and more relaxed and more and more open to healing.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Feel your eyes relaxed.

And now have your eyeballs look into your mind.

Do this with your eyes closed,

Gently rolling them back.

Have your eyeballs looking up,

Just as if they were looking into your mind.

That's right,

Your eyelids are closed and you are looking into your mind with your eyeballs.

Now let your eyes relax.

And let's do this one more time with your eyes closed,

Your eyeballs looking into your mind.

And while you are doing this set the intention for your body to heal your DNA,

All that needs to be healed.

And you are keeping with your slow rhythmical breaths,

You are relaxed and you are open to healing.

We now have an understanding that trauma can linger in our DNA for at least seven generations.

This means that trauma can exist from our very distant relatives,

For most of us back into the 1800s.

As you can imagine life was very different for all of our ancestors compared to the life we have now.

So first let's offer gratitude and forgiveness to our ancestors for any pain and suffering they may have experienced.

Just acknowledge that their experiences have shaped your family history.

And that you would not be here if it wasn't for every single one of your ancestors.

And staying with your cyclical breath I will now give you some time to give thanks and gratitude to all your ancestors.

And as you listen you can mentally note particular words that will release tension and stress from your body.

You are and will be melting away and healing DNA due to past traumas and unresolved trauma that has been passed down through the generations to you.

You are healing and letting go of these traumas.

This is a time for healing and for cleansing your DNA.

Deep healing for your DNA for seven generations on both your father and your mother's side of the family.

This healing is for you.

This healing is for all your ancestors who have come before you and all your ancestors that will come after you.

This healing is for your children and for your children's children and all your future lineage.

You are breathing your gentle cyclical breath and now you are becoming sensitive to feelings in your body.

You can notice where your clothes touch your skin and where your hair brushes your face or ears.

You feel the comfort of your eyes and your eyelids as they rest gently closed.

Each time you breathe you feel yourself moving deeper and deeper into relaxed calmness.

Each time you exhale your breath is just relaxing you more and more.

And as you do this you are taking away all tension in your muscles.

Breathing in and out and releasing tension.

Feeling into your body and notice any tension anywhere in your body and just breathe into that part of your body.

You are becoming more and more relaxed and you are releasing all tension in your body.

Now you are going to scan your body from your toes through your feet.

Visualize the area from your toes to your thighs.

And this time as you inhale get ready so that when you exhale you can allow every muscle,

Every fibre,

Every nerve to relax all the way down to the tips of your toes.

Breathe in and exhale and release all tension.

And breathe in and out and feel the relaxation.

Now this time visualize the area from your feet all the way up your legs and up into your chest including the muscles in your back.

Visualize the whole area from your toes all the way up to your chest and now all the way down your spine and back to your feet.

Feel this whole area from your feet all the way to your chest.

And keeping with your cyclical breath you are relaxed.

Everything is relaxed from your feet all the way through to your chest and your back.

Now I invite you to visualize your whole being from the tips of your toes all the way up your legs,

Your hips,

Your chest,

Your neck.

Through your head and all the way to the crown of your head.

Just feel this energy at the crown of your head as you breathe your gentle connected breaths.

Notice that this comfortable feeling is so restful.

It's like falling asleep yet you can still hear me and you can ignore other sounds for the time being.

All you have to do is relax.

Now becoming even more relaxed.

So relaxed that you allow yourself to become sensitive to images,

Impressions,

Colors,

Thoughts,

Memories.

And when I count from one to three you will again with your eyes closed focus your eyes up into your head.

And then I will advise you to let go.

Feel yourself drifting even further and further and deeper.

Very deep into relaxation.

Three,

Focus your eyes up into your head.

Hold them there and hold your breath.

You are relaxed.

You are letting yourself drift into your body.

And now relax your eyes.

You may have a feeling of drifting down and down and relaxing deeper and deeper.

Because you are now drifting deeper and deeper into an altered state of consciousness.

Just feel the stillness in your body.

And let that sense of stillness grow within you.

Perhaps your mind could picture the stillness of a great lake with the mist softly rising from its still surface.

And you also know that within yourself there is stillness.

You feel utterly still.

There are gentle responses going on within your body.

And as the natural process desists you,

You experience an inner feeling of well-being,

Of health.

A quiet feeling of confidence.

Yet all the while you feel still.

You feel the stillness in your body.

And this feeling is within you.

Your DNA that has been passed down to you from generation to generation.

On your mother's side and on your father's side.

Deep within you.

All the DNA from all your generations makes you who you are today.

And now you are ready for the healing.

You now find you have been transported to a healing temple.

You are now standing outside the healing temple.

And you are setting an intention for your healing today.

You now say to yourself,

I am ready.

I am ready for the healing of my DNA.

I am ready for the healing of the DNA of all my ancestors.

And so you enter the temple and you meet the physicians and the priests who will be working with you.

They are now going through all the diagnostic tests.

And soon the healing process will begin.

You are staying with your breath.

You are relaxing and you are ready for the healing.

And now the process is beginning.

And all you have to do is lie there.

And just keep with a slow connected breath.

Feeling and breathing into your body.

Noticing any sensations in your body during the process.

As the healing is taking place.

Feel yourself floating.

As you enter even deeper states of relaxation.

Just like a feather floating down and down.

You can see yourself relaxing deeper and deeper.

As the healing is taking place in your body.

There is a rhythm as you feel your chest rising and falling.

There is no effort.

There is no strain.

Your body is just breathing you.

Your body is healing.

The rhythm of your breath is just like smooth ocean waves.

Slowly rising and slowly falling.

You feel your body and it is breathing.

Like a great ocean in the sun.

Feel the warmth and peace flowing through every part of your body.

The waves gently rising and falling with each breath.

Yet inside you are feeling healed.

Healed,

Calm and still.

And in this state as you are relaxing.

You may want to draw upon some sort of memory.

That allows yourself and your mind to travel to a special place.

It could be any place you choose.

Perhaps you would enjoy a beach.

By the ocean.

Or just feel the fresh air on the top of a mountain.

Perhaps you would just like to sit beside a beautiful quiet stream.

In a beautiful garden.

Any place you would like to sit and be.

Where you can be relaxed.

Relaxing and feeling the healing of your DNA.

And in this state of full relaxation.

I would like your unconscious mind and your body mind to scan your DNA.

And as your unconscious mind and your body mind scan your DNA.

They get a sense of your essential self.

They see that the healing has taken place within your DNA.

They see the healing of the trauma through the seven generations on both sides of your family lineage.

You are completely unique.

And your DNA is unique to you.

You are in a special place.

Your body and your unconscious mind are seeing the healing of your DNA at deep levels within you.

You can feel this energy,

This healing,

Nurturing energy within you.

Healing your DNA.

And you imagine a light is entering your body with each inhale.

Filling every cell and every molecule within you.

And as you continue breathing.

And seeing the healing light extending beyond your body.

And now it's reaching back through time.

Connecting with your ancestors.

You can visualize the ancestors as a collective.

First you visualize all the ancestors on your father's side.

Your father,

His mother and father.

And all the generations behind.

And they are feeling your breath.

And they are feeling the healing.

And on your mother's side.

You can visualize the ancestors as a collective on your mother's side.

Your mother.

Your mother's mother.

Your mother's father.

And all their ancestors.

And they are sending you loving energy from beyond to beyond.

And they are thanking you all for the healing of the DNA of your lineage.

And now you visualize your ancestors as a collective.

And imagine them surrounded by this healing light.

You see their burdens and traumas being lifted and transformed by the healing energy.

That's right,

You see them surrounded by this healing light.

You see their burdens and their traumas being gently lifted and transformed by the healing energy.

The healing energy is the healing of their DNA.

Not just for you,

But more importantly for your children.

Your children's children.

And all their children through the next generations.

And now you see your DNA healed.

And sense your mind is calm and peaceful.

And you are totally relaxed and feeling healed.

And now you stay with this visualization and let it be ingrained into your DNA.

You're allowing the energy to flow through you and through all your ancestral lineage.

You continue to imagine yourself in this special place.

You're feeling calm and you're feeling relaxed.

This is the most peaceful place in the entire world for you.

You imagine soft light filtering down into this place.

And you see yourself surrounded by a beautiful warm golden glow.

You can feel that light is all around you.

And each time you breathe in,

You're breathing in the gentle healing energy.

And each time you breathe out,

You're relaxing deeper and deeper.

You're relaxing deeper and deeper because you have the knowledge that your DNA and the DNA of all your ancestors past,

Present and future has been healed.

And now even as you listen to me and I continue to speak,

You're finding that you're still drifting deeper and deeper and becoming more and more responsive,

Yet more and more relaxed and more and more open to your healing.

You have transformed all the ancestral trauma that has been passed down to you through your DNA.

You are healed.

You have broken the cycle and you are creating a new legacy of healing and well-being for all who will come after you.

The healing of your DNA is the healing of the DNA of your children and your children's children and all future generations.

And now with each passing day,

You are going to feel changes in your DNA.

Your unconscious mind and your body mind will continue to keep working on the process of healing and repairing your DNA.

And over time it may surprise you when you feel this in your body.

The fact is you don't know all the possibilities yet.

Yet your body can work on it all by itself while you are just relaxing.

And so you can relax even deeper and deeper.

I'm going to count from five down to one.

And when I reach the count of one,

You'll find that you're in an even more blissful,

Relaxed state.

And the degree of relaxation will be enhanced just by you listening and allowing your imagination to carry you down and down to the deepest parts of your body so you can see the healing that has taken place.

Five,

You can begin to drift even deeper and deeper into your body.

Four,

Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed.

Three,

Feel the gentle heaviness spreading over your body again throughout your body.

Two,

You're drifting deeper and deeper and deeper into your body.

One,

Feel yourself drifting down,

Peaceful,

Relaxed.

Feeling almost the feeling of drifting off to sleep.

The feeling of being very,

Very relaxed.

And feeling more and more that your DNA is healing.

And you'll just find that you're gradually getting better and better each day.

Your body is just healing itself step by step.

Healing can take time,

But day by day your DNA repairs.

And as your DNA repairs,

Your DNA sends signals throughout your whole body healing all that needs to be healed.

Within your body.

And you breathe,

And you're going deeper and deeper into your body.

And as time goes on,

You feel more and more into your body and you feel more and more the healing that is occurring within your body.

And you just allow all of these feelings to develop and grow stronger and stronger.

You feel at peace with a sense of well-being.

And regardless of any stress or tension which may surround your life you now sense and recognize the feelings of inner peace and relaxation.

You are now developing the commitment that you've made to yourself to be able to heal.

You feel inner peace and relaxation and are actually creating a shield of protection around you.

And you may now remain calm and more at peace and more relaxed than you ever have been in the past.

And these positive feelings will stay with you and grow stronger and stronger within you as you become more and more relaxed.

In fact,

As your DNA heals,

You're becoming more and more surprised as your health improves day by day.

As your DNA improves,

So does your life allowing your body to come back into its correct balance allowing your mind to feel settled and calm.

This allowing you to experience a deeper sense of inner confidence and contentment.

You enjoy your experience in this life more and more.

You enjoy it more and more each day feeling the healing of your DNA becoming stronger and stronger every day.

You heal the DNA of all your ancestors.

You heal the DNA of past trauma in all your past generations.

And you're healing the DNA for all your future generations.

And now I'm going to leave you for a couple of minutes to just breathe and feel into your body and feel into the healing.

Healing happening within your body.

As you breathe,

If you notice any sensations in the body just gently breathe into those sensations sending healing,

Loving energy.

And in a moment,

I'm going to count from 1 to 10.

And as I count from 1 to 10 you can begin to come back into the room to full consciousness.

And you will come back feeling refreshed as if you've had a long rest.

And you'll come back feeling alert and relaxed and knowing,

Having a deep knowing that your DNA of past trauma from all your generations is healing and being healed.

And now for your future generations you will not be passing on any of the trauma from your past generations.

One,

Starting to come back into the room.

Two.

Three.

Five.

Feel yourself coming back now.

Six.

And seven.

And you're coming back slowly.

Eight.

Nine.

Ten.

All the way back.

Feeling good.

Feeling relaxed.

Feeling restored and refreshed.

And as you are feeling this sense of healing through your body I want you to offer gratitude and forgiveness to all your ancestors for any pain or suffering they may have experienced.

Acknowledge that their experiences have shaped your family's history.

Let them know you are transforming any and all ancestral trauma that has been passed down to you through your DNA.

And affirm you have broken the cycle of pain and creating a new legacy of healing and well-being for all future generations.

I invite you now to stay with this visualization and I will give you a few minutes to witness the healing of all past generations.

Just stay in this energy and feel this energy healing.

When you are ready take a few deep breaths and gradually bring your awareness back to your surroundings back into the room and gently open your eyes and take a moment to ground yourself.

Ground yourself and feel the healing energy within you and take this healing energy with you wherever you go.

Know that it's always there for you.

It's always part of you.

This healing energy is now in your DNA.
