Welcome to this eco meditation for clearing the mind and returning to a state of calm and balance.
Wherever you are,
Take a moment to pause.
Allow yourself to arrive in this space.
This is your time to let go,
Letting go of stress and coming back to peace.
Close your eyes if that feels good.
Begin by taking a slow deep breath in through your nose,
Hold it gently and exhale through your mouth,
Letting go,
Again deep breath in and a long exhale out.
With every breath feel the mind begin to soften.
Place one hand gently over your heart,
With the fingertips of the other hand lightly start tapping your chest.
As you tap,
Affirm silently or aloud,
I release tension with every breath.
Now switch hands and tap again,
Repeating,
I let go of what I cannot control.
Now rest both hands over your heart,
Feeling the warmth within.
Set your intention for this practice,
I release anything that's not for my greater good.
I invite calm into every part of my body.
Let's slow the breath down,
Breathe out,
Now breathe in 6,

Keep breathing these slow breaths.
Imagine you're breathing through your heart,
As if your breath flows in and out of your chest.
With each inhale you're drawing in calm,
With each slow exhale you release tension and worry.
Let the breath do the work.
Let calm be restored to your body,
With every breath in,
And releasing what no longer serves you with every breath out.
Now we'll move slowly through the body,
Bringing awareness and releasing what needs to be released one part at a time.
Bringing your awareness all the way down to your feet and your toes.
Your inhale grounding you,
And with your exhale let any heaviness melt into the earth,
Affirm I am grounded.
Move your awareness now to your ankles,
Calves and shins.
If they hold restlessness,
Let it flow out with your breath.
Imagine warm light filling them now,
Affirm I stand steady,
I am safe.
Awareness now to your knees and thighs,
Soften your knees,
Your thighs,
Let them sink heavy,
Releasing stored tension.
Affirm I let go of holding,
I trust my path.
Bring your awareness to your hips and pelvis,
The place where we store emotions.
On your inhale,
Breathe in compassion.
On your exhale,
Release fear and worry.
Affirm I am supported,
I am free.
Your awareness now to your belly and lower back.
Notice any tension gathered here,
Breathe into it.
Let your belly rise and fall with each breath.
Affirm I soften into calm,
I am peace.
Your awareness to your chest and heart,
Feel your chest expand with each inhale.
Notice your heart beating steady and strong.
Breathe in love,
Exhale fear.
Affirm I open my heart,
I release what's not needed.
Your awareness to your shoulders,
Upper arms,
Elbows,
Forearms and hands.
Let them relax heavy and soft.
Imagine dropping every burden.
Affirm I let go of what I carry.
Awareness now to your neck and throat,
Relax the muscles here.
If there are words unspoken or tension held here,
Release them with your exhale.
Affirm I speak with calm and ease.
Soften your jaw,
Relax your tongue.
Relax the muscles around your eyes,
Your forehead,
Your scalp relaxed.
Imagine a wide open sky behind your eyes,
Spacious and calm.
Affirm my mind is clear,
I am free.
Now bring your awareness to your whole body.
Feel your whole body together from head to toe,
Bathed in light,
Spacious and calm.
All tension dissolves like mist in the morning sun.
Affirm peace fills my body,
Peace fills my mind.
Place your hands back over your heart,
Gently tapping with one hand.
Affirm I release anxiety,
I choose calm,
I am safe and supported.
I trust myself,
Peace is my natural state.
Imagine a soft beam of radiant energy flowing outwards.
Send this energy to someone you love or to the world itself.
Let your heart's compassion ripple outwards.
Now gently draw that energy back into your own heart,
Filling yourself with the same love and peace.
Take one last deep inhale and a long exhale.
Know that this peace is always within you and you can carry it with you into the rest of your day.
More and more each day,
Peace is your natural state of being.
