Hi this is Frankie and welcome to this beyond the mind breathwork meditation.

Getting beyond the analytical mind and entering a deeper state of meditation through breathwork requires patience.

Breathwork is a powerful tool to calm the mind and access a more profound sense of presence and awareness,

Not just in this session but also in your daily life.

So find yourself in your quiet space,

In a peaceful environment where you won't be disturbed,

Seated or lying down.

So we'll now start our conscious connected breaths,

Taking slow deep breaths,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Connecting each inhale and each exhale,

Feel the air entering and leaving.

And gradually start extending the exhalation,

Make it longer than the inhalation.

This activates the parasympathetic nervous system,

Promoting relaxation.

And now I invite you to just let go of any thoughts deeply.

You'll likely encounter thoughts popping into your mind from time to time.

Don't worry,

Don't try to force them away,

But also don't engage with them.

Instead observe them non-judgmentally and let them pass gently.

Wish them well on their way and then gently refocus your attention to your breath.

And now as you've already started breathing your deep connected breaths,

I'd like you to perform a body scan,

Just to identify any areas of tension or discomfort in your body.

As you're breathing your connected breath,

Imagine you're sending your breath to these areas,

Allowing them to release and to relax.

Just like you're letting go of the thoughts,

You're letting go of any tension or discomfort in the body.

On the inhales your belly and chest are expanding,

And on the exhales your belly and your chest contract.

Feel the rise and fall of your belly and your chest.

Feel your body breathing.

This is you experiencing your breath.

Letting your breath find its natural rhythm without trying to control it consciously.

Just allowing yourself to be carried by the flow of your breath.

Let yourself surrender to the inhale and the exhale.

Surrendering to any effort,

Just let your breath guide you.

As you breathe let yourself become relaxed and focused,

Expanding your awareness beyond just your physical sensations.

Tune into the energy in and around your body.

Feel the interconnectedness of all things.

You are connected with the universe and you are breathing the breath of the universe.

If thoughts arise,

Observe them as if they were passing clouds in the sky.

Acknowledge their presence without judgement and gently guide your awareness back to your breath.

As you are going deeper and deeper with your breath,

Just surrender.

As you become more immersed in the breath and the present moment,

You will get to a point where the analytical mind just switches off.

So just keep breathing and let go.

And now release the breath.

Just let yourself come back to a nice slow breath.

And just lay and breathe gently and feel into your body for the next couple of minutes.

You will hear a bold chime when it's time to come back into the room.

Just remember the process of moving beyond the analytical mind takes time and consistent practice.

It's normal for thoughts to arise during a meditation.

The key is to observe them without attachment.

Return to the breath,

Return to the present moment.

And over time this practice can lead you to deeper states of breathwork meditation and self-awareness.
