Hi,

Frankie here.

Welcome beautiful soul to today's meditation.

Today you are entering a safe and compassionate space,

A space where even the most critical voice inside you is welcome with curiosity,

Not with judgment.

We all carry an inner critic.

It may speak with the voice of the past,

Echoing fear or shame,

But within every voice lies wisdom that's waiting to be transformed.

In this journey,

You'll explore the roots of your inner critic,

Meet it with understanding and gently guide it into a new supportive role.

Get comfortable,

Close your eyes and begin by taking a deep breath in.

Now slowly let it go.

Take another deep breath in and exhale fully.

Let your shoulders soften,

Let your jaw unclench.

Feel your body sink into the surface beneath you.

Feel the safety in this moment.

With every breath you take,

Allow yourself to relax deeper,

Like a wave washing over you,

Cleansing tension,

Softening the edges and releasing the thoughts.

In this relaxed state,

I ask you to invite your inner critic forward.

Now imagine you're standing at the threshold of a quieter inner sanctuary,

A sacred place where all parts of you are welcome,

A place where nothing needs to be hidden.

As you step inside,

Notice a soft golden light surrounding you.

This light is your inner guidance,

Your higher self,

Watching over with love.

Now in this safe,

Sacred space,

Gently call forward the part of you that is known as the inner critic.

You may sense this part of you as a shape,

A voice or an image,

However it appears for you,

Welcome it.

Now say silently or aloud,

I see you,

I hear you,

I am now ready to listen with love.

Now speak to this part of you with compassion.

Ask,

What are you trying to protect me from?

What are you afraid would happen if you didn't speak up?

Take a moment to listen to them,

Not with judgement,

But with understanding.

Even if it's words were once harsh,

There may be fear or longing beneath this.

The words you may hear from your inner critic might be something like,

I want to keep you safe,

I didn't want you to be embarrassed.

I was afraid you wouldn't be good enough.

Now thank the inner critic for its intentions,

No matter how misdirected it may have been,

And say to it,

Thank you for trying to protect me,

I'm ready now to help you evolve.

Now call in your inner guidance,

That wise loving presence within you.

Feel it arrive,

Like a calm presence behind your heart or above your head.

Let it radiate light and truth into this space between you and the inner critic.

Now imagine that your inner guidance gently places its hand on the shoulder of your inner critic.

Feel a wave of softness,

Of warmth,

Of healing flowing into your body.

You now say,

You don't have to use fear to guide me.

You can speak with kindness.

How about you become my inner coach,

My ally,

My protector in a new way.

Imagine now the inner critic beginning to shift.

Maybe its voice softens,

Its posture straightens,

Its form becomes more gentle.

Let this part of you take on a new role,

Supporter,

Motivator,

Honest but kind.

And say silently,

From now on I choose to hear the truth wrapped in love.

Now place your right hand over your heart.

Feel the warmth,

The connection,

The support,

And with your other hand press your thumb and index finger together softly.

This simple gesture is now your inner ally anchor,

A physical signal to your subconscious mind that you are safe,

Supported,

Wise,

And loved.

Now take a deep breath in,

Repeat after me,

I trust my inner guidance.

I listen with compassion.

My inner voice is kind and clear.

And now listen,

A new voice is rising within you,

Your true inner voice,

Not the critic of the past,

But the supporter,

The motivator,

The one who sees potential,

Who speaks with truth and love.

Let them speak to you now.

Listen to the words it uses.

You've done the best you could,

And that's enough.

You're not behind,

You're exactly where you need to be.

You are learning,

You are growing,

And I've got your back.

Even on the hard days,

I'm with you,

We rise together,

I won't let you give up because you're worth it.

Feel the power of this new voice,

Strong but gentle,

Honest but kind,

Clear,

Loving,

And unwavering.

Now press your thumb and index finger together softly again,

Anchoring this deeply.

Remember this anchor,

This truth within you,

This is you,

Awakening the voice that you are always meant to hear.

Now see yourself moving forward.

Visualize yourself moving through life,

And this new inner voice is guiding you.

It encourages you when you're unsure,

It uplifts you when you're learning,

It celebrates your progress,

Not perfection.

Notice how your posture changes,

How your energy shifts,

You are no longer at war with yourself.

You are your own safe space now,

Grounded and safe.

As you begin to return to your body now,

Feel your feet,

Your hands,

Notice your breath.

Bring your awareness gently to this moment,

Grounded,

Transformed,

And whole.

Now repeat these affirmations silently or aloud,

I am kind to myself,

My inner voice now supports my growth,

I listen to my inner guidance with trust,

I am whole,

I am evolving,

I am deeply enough.

Take one final deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Feel the peace of this shift integrating into every cell of your body.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Bring in the knowing that you have turned your inner critic into your greatest supporter,

And in doing so,

You've made space for compassion,

Truth,

And lasting inner strength.
