Welcome,

Sacred soul.

Tonight is a dear one to my heart,

Ancestors' gratitude,

Seven generations.

Tonight you rest,

Not only for yourself,

You rest wrapped in the invisible arms of those who came before you.

Their breath is your breath,

Their stories are in yourselves,

And tonight you remember them with gratitude.

You honour the river of life that flowed through them so it could reach you.

We honour and give thanks to all of them,

For without them we would not exist.

So let tonight be a sacred offering,

A night where you say thank you.

Thank you for your pain.

Thank you for your love.

Thank you for surviving.

Thank you for living.

My existence on planet earth is because of you,

All of you.

I am grateful for this,

And I am grateful for life on planet earth.

Let yourself now settle into your bed,

Feel the surface beneath you,

Let it hold you like the earth holds the bones of all your ancestors.

Take a deep breath in,

As you exhale,

Surrender.

This is your time now,

A journey of remembering,

A journey of connection,

A journey of peace,

A journey of gratitude for all who have come before you.

Let's begin with ten breaths of gratitude.

Let each of these breaths be an offering to your ancestors.

Each a thank you,

You whisper across time.

Inhale for your mother.

Exhale gratitude,

Thank you for giving me life.

Inhale for your father.

Exhale with gratitude,

Thank you for giving me life.

Inhale for your mother's mother.

Exhale,

Thank you for your wisdom and your fire.

Inhale for your father's father.

Exhale,

Thank you for your courage and your journey.

Inhale for your mother's father.

Exhale,

Thank you for your hands,

Your work,

Your legacy.

Inhale for your father's mother.

Exhale,

Thank you for your tenderness,

Your laughter,

Your love.

Inhale for your lineage of women.

Exhale,

Thank you for carrying the future inside your womb.

Inhale for your lineage of men.

Exhale,

Thank you for protecting the fire of life.

Inhale for all unknown ancestors.

Exhale,

Even in the silence,

I honor you.

Inhale for the collective,

All the ancestors.

Exhale,

Together we are one river of memory,

Of love and survival.

Gratitude and love to all who came before.

Let's now do an ancestral body scan.

Let your body become a sacred map.

As we bring awareness to your whole being,

We invite the presence of those who live in your bones,

In your blood,

In your breath.

Let's begin at the crown of your head.

Feel a shimmer of light,

Astral light,

Spiraling down like sacred wind.

Your head holds the thoughts and wisdom passed down from storytellers and seekers,

From mystics and mothers.

Let their knowing wash over you.

Your eyes hold the visions they once dreamed,

The hope they carried.

As you soften into sleep,

Your ears hold the echoes of their voices,

Their lullabies,

Their warnings,

Their song,

Their laughter.

Let silence cradle them now.

Your mouth and jaw hold the words they couldn't say,

The names they whispered.

Relax and let those words be blessed.

Your shoulders carry burdens they bore,

The weight they carried through war,

Through change,

Through heartbreak.

Feel them melt now.

You don't need to carry it all.

Your arms and your hands remember their work,

Hands that held,

Built,

Cooked,

Prayed.

Let your hands soften.

You are held now.

Your chest and heart carry generations of love and longing,

Grief unspoken,

Joys celebrated.

Let your heart open to receive it all,

Without fear,

Only gratitude.

Your belly,

Womb of creation,

Home of emotion,

And so many memories live here.

Let them settle now.

Your hips and pelvis hold roots,

Ancient memories,

Tribal dances,

Childbirth,

Movement.

Let them rest.

Your legs walked where they once walked,

Mountains,

Deserts,

Cities,

And forest paths.

Let them be still now.

Your feet stand on sacred ground,

The same earth a cradle bears.

Feel the roots grow from your souls,

All the way back through time.

You are the living bridge between all that came before and all that will come after.

Now let's bring in gratitude for your lineage,

One by one.

Gently float back generation by generation,

Softly offering thanks with every breath.

Today I am grateful for my parents.

Without them I would not exist.

Thank you for giving me life.

Gratitude for my grandparents,

For all they gave and all they carried.

Gratitude for my great-grandparents,

For surviving,

Loving,

And enduring.

Gratitude for generation four,

Whose stories I may never know,

But whose blood flows through me.

Gratitude for generation five,

For rising through difficulty,

For dreaming of futures unknown.

Gratitude for generation six,

For walking through history so I may walk on this earth.

Gratitude for generation seven,

Ancient ones,

Spirits beyond the veil.

You have lived so I may breathe.

Dear soul,

You are the prayer they once whispered.

You are the future they could not see,

But you are here now,

Breathing,

Healing,

Sleeping in gratitude for them all.

We will now offer gratitude to all the ancestors beyond the beyond.

If you are awake,

You can do this in your thinking mind.

If asleep,

Your subconscious mind can join.

Beyond time,

Beyond memory,

Beyond borders,

Beyond names.

Gratitude for the ancestors of thousands of years.

Gratitude for birth and rebirth.

Gratitude for generations and regeneration.

Gratitude earthborn and starlit.

Gratitude for all my earth ancestors.

Gratitude for all my light ancestors.

Gratitude for my galactic lineage.

Gratitude for the wisdom of the universe woven into me.

I give thanks for the first seed.

I give thanks for the first breath.

I give gratitude for the first spark.

The cosmic heartbeat that began all life.

I am born of stardust and soil.

Of miracle and mystery.

I rest in this knowing.

I am born in gratitude.

Now as we go deeper and deeper,

Let's go down through the seven generations.

Each one deeper than the last.

Each one an echo of love,

Of life,

Of gratitude.

Let the numbers count you down.

Deeper into astral remembrance.

Deeper into sleep.

Seven,

Your parents,

Mother,

Father.

Imperfect,

Beautiful.

They gave you breath,

Whisper.

Thank you.

Six,

Your four grandparents.

Hardship,

Survival,

Old languages,

Lost lands.

Whisper,

Thank you for all you endured.

Five,

Your eight grandparents.

The ones you may never know,

But who dreamed of futures,

Not knowing you'd be part of it.

Whisper,

I am your future.

Thank you.

Four,

Their 16 parents.

Seven billion heartbeats ago.

All heartbeats became you.

Whisper,

I carry your light forward.

Three,

36 mothers of mothers,

Fathers of fathers.

Their names gone.

Their DNA lives on in you.

Their faces numerous.

In your whispers,

They are remembered.

Two,

The 72 before you.

Before records.

Long before memory.

But still,

They lived.

They loved.

They cried.

They danced.

And they prayed.

Whisper to them,

I am your continuation.

One,

Further and further,

Your ancestors like stars.

The sparks,

The ones who first stood.

Who first looked to the sky and sang.

The ones who whispered into the wind.

Who made fire and called it home.

Whisper to them now,

I honor your essence.

Zero,

Now sleep.

Sleep with the gratitude of seven generations held in your chest.

Sleep with the whispers of love circling your soul.

Sleep,

Dear one.

The work is done.

You are free to rest.

While whispers of gratitude are repeated softly.

Gratitude to all who came before me.

Gratitude to my mother and my father.

Gratitude to their mothers and fathers.

Gratitude for every hardship they overcame.

Gratitude for every act of love that made me possible.

Gratitude for the stories I carry.

Gratitude for the healing I bring.

Gratitude for the breath I breathe.

Gratitude for this life.

Gratitude for the rivers of ancestors.

Forever flowing,

Forever alive.

Forever resting with me now.

Now let these words gently echo into your subconscious as you drift deeper into rest and sleep.

I am held by the love of my ancestors.

I am grateful for those who came before me.

I honor my lineage with every breath.

I release what is not mine to carry.

I receive the blessings of my family line.

I am the continuation of generations of strength.

I rest in the peace of ancestral healing.

My sleep is protected by ancient love.

My body carries the wisdom of the ages.

I walk forward with the strength of the generations before me.

I am free to rest.

I am free to heal.

Gratitude flows through my entire being.

I sleep in harmony with all that came before me.

I honor the sacrifices made for my life.

I am the answered prayer of my ancestors.

My dreams are a sacred meeting place.

I am connected to the earth and the stars.

My spirit rests in ancestral peace.

I forgive,

I release,

I love.

The healing of my lineage begins with me.

I am worthy of deep restoring sleep.

I welcome the wisdom of my ancestors.

I am one with all that is.

I sleep cradled in the arms of time.

I am born in gratitude.

As you drift now,

Dear soul,

Feel the warmth of your ancestors.

Surrounding you like the starlight surrounds the earth.

For now they step back,

But their love remains.

You are safe.

You are whole.

You are deeply,

Deeply loved.

Sleep now,

Dear one.

Sleep in gratitude.

Sleep in peace.

Sleep in the great web of life.

You are safe.

You are loved.

You are the prayer they once whispered.

Good night,

Dear soul.

Sleep now in the arms of all who came before you.

Sleep in the great web of life.

You are safe.

You are loved.

You are the prayer they once whispered.

Good night,

Dear soul.

Sleep now in the arms of all who came before you.
