Greetings,

Wherever you are.

Thank you for taking the time to join me.

Today we'll focus on resetting.

If you're having one of those days,

One of those moments where your mind,

Your body,

You're just feeling restless or can't stop thinking about something specific.

You want to get maybe just back focus on whatever project you're working on or just finish finishing your work day.

So as we start to calm the restless mind,

Find a way to be comfortable however you are.

Find a long spine,

Even if you're laying down.

Right away,

Just accept that you might find yourself feeling jittery or just restless and maybe foot tapping and just know that that's okay.

Stillness can cause the mind to want to do even more movement.

So accept that now and just forgive yourself.

Shake out your hands,

Move your jaw,

Maybe move your shoulder.

Next time you breathe in,

Take in your surroundings,

If your eyes are still open.

Allow yourself to arrive right here.

Next time you breathe out,

Release most of the breath from the body.

As you breathe in,

Expand your belly.

As you breathe out,

Let the belly press the air out of the body,

Pulling into the spine.

Breathe out,

Ribs hug in.

Continue breathing just like this.

Consider where you are.

What are you doing here?

Why are you doing whatever you're doing,

Even if it's nothing?

Who benefits from you being right here,

Right now,

Doing what you're doing right now?

Do you get any benefit from it?

Do your community members,

Your loved ones?

Now consider your distractions.

Is anything keeping you from what you're doing?

Why do you feel distracted by this?

Is there anything you can control about this distraction?

Take a breath in,

A breath out.

Just think about whatever you're doing.

Again,

Even if it's nothing at all.

Consider what you might need or otherwise to accomplish this.

As you breathe out,

Release control.

Just let go of the desire to create any order in what you're doing.

Cultivate motivation as you continue to breathe.

Release judgment.

Just know that it's all good.

It's okay to be distracted.

Invite yourself to really experience your energy.

Continue to think about what it is you need or want to do.

Start to move your hands.

Wiggle your toes around.

Shrug your shoulders.

Start to come back into your body.

Breathe in,

Feel your nostrils flare.

If you haven't already,

Open your eyes,

Take a look around.

Breathe in your surroundings.

If you're in a place to get back to what you're doing,

Allow yourself to take a few moments.

When you are ready to get back to it,

Really be there.

If you're writing,

Allow yourself to be writing.

Just think,

I am writing.

If you're reading,

Just think.

If you're resting,

Allow yourself to be here now.

Thank you for joining me.

I hope to breathe with you again soon.

See you later.
