Hello and welcome in this third step for the holistic fasting preparation.

Today we will talk about the spiritual preparation,

To connect your soul during fasting in the best way you can.

So of course meditation will be very very helpful in the process.

You need to schedule before the beginning your session of meditation.

If you are beginner in meditation it could be challenging to have some very long session of one hour or two hours for example,

Which are extremely beneficial in the long fasting.

So if you are available to do that long,

I recommend you to do so and to plan them.

However for the beginners and those who can't stand so long,

Schedule more session a day of 10 or 20 minutes.

Every two three hours it could be helpful for you as well.

So it means five or six meditation a day.

So in total at least one hour for the last experimented among us until two hours or three four hours a day if you are already a long meditative experience.

For the experimented to do some session of 30 minutes up to one hour,

You will benefit so much more of these experiences more than your usual meditation in your day-to-day life.

In both cases,

Beginner or advanced,

It's a regularity in the practice whatever your actual level is.

Both are beneficial for your soul during a fasting because you will feel more connected in any way.

More you will connect yourself and more you will get.

We have to give to receive.

We will talk more deeply about that in the future steps on what you can do.

Do your best and be aware of your regular hours.

Accept it and be passionate and compassionate with yourself.

No hurry.

Let it go and acknowledge your state.

If you can't stand longer than the right,

It will increase naturally with time with good intention and full participation.

They will have other sessions as well to practice.

Another point,

Prepare your gratitude at least five and if you are inspired right until ten.

You can be grateful for your life in general,

About the people around you,

Family,

Friends,

Your personal situation,

Your career,

The earth,

The universe.

There are so much gratitude to do almost for everything but it depends of what you are feeling.

It's better to have gratitude from yourself created by your heart when you can feel vibration or emotion.

We can also be inspired by some which already exist or take some quotes or mantras that you will tell you to yourself.

The only point is to feel the emotion from.

I encourage you to write a comment on the course and to ask me some questions about this.

I will be very pleased and glad to reply to your questions,

To give you some example of mantras that I use in my day to day life.

I can also create one for you if you know what you are sensitive of.

Then in this case you will take it for you and own it with your own words and emotions.

I can only give you an idea but the importance for you is to own it within your heart and emotions.

Then you will feel even in your body and mind.

It has to talk to your heart.

It's really important for you well-being and connection to the universe.

Other point,

Choose high advanced spiritual text,

Scripture or book that you will read during your fasting time.

It can be included with other book we talk about in the precedent part of the mind.

I can advise you to read or start and try to understand the Bhagavad Gita as it is if you don't know it.

It's an incredible philosophical and practical and spiritual book which helped me for years along my path.

You can ask me any question about it.

I can also recommend you to read certain passages and chapter if you don't feel to read the whole book.

It's a spiritual book really old from India.

One of the oldest spiritual book in the world,

More than 5000 years and which is a true unlimited source of wisdom that you can come back at any time of your life with a different message or meaning every time because it depends only of your progress and consciousness.

It was the favorite book of Gandhi.

We used it especially when he felt the need to do in his own path or felt some doubt about life and or his mission.

It always gave him a real happiness and confidence to continue his fight for the cause he had at heart.

It's a book really deep.

Even Buddha before becoming enlightened learned and teached from that book.

Two after that created his own teaching for its living time and adjustment for the people of his period.

He acknowledged it and transformed to cheer widely.

Everything is linked in a deepest root.

Also,

All the point now,

Take a mantra which talk to you that you will use during the day whenever you feel the need to pass through certain kind of feeling or if you are feeling tired or just want to relax or release your thought especially if you are stuck in tune.

A mantra allow you to go through that.

You will also repeat before some activities we will do and talk about that in the next steps of the course.

You can use for example the mantra OM or Hare Krishna or Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya or Aman Brasmani.

If you want to know the meaning of all this mantra just ask me and I will tell you why it is useful for this or for that one.

Or just tell Namaste.

It means I acknowledge the divinity inside you but at least try to have one that you will keep during the whole fasting to have the beneficial of it than to keep it for good after the course.

Now you will take an object,

Machalo that you can that you consider precious in your heart and has a meaning for you.

Maybe a stone or a mala,

A ring,

Whatever.

Something you can feel an emotion when you touch it or you have a memory when you look at it.

Look also for few frequential music.

We talked about the benefits in the my part.

Like the ones you can hear in my meditation on my insight timer account.

You can even use my meditation guided if you wish during your meditation time.

Sometimes it is good to do alone without any sound and sometimes a guide can be useful.

Try to alternate your activities to get different results.

For the meditation itself,

Use those you feel the most comfortable with.

The ones you already had a transcendental experience or used to do or even those present on insight timer created by plenty of mindful teachers.

Finally find a beautiful place close from your home where there is nature,

A park,

A forest,

A lake,

A mountain,

A beach,

A river,

A waterfall,

A hill,

A field or even a little garden if you don't have any other solution.

And this place will be your getaway to walk around for at least 30 minutes every day during your fasting time.

This place has to be close from your home by walk.

Don't use your car or public transport because it can create a stress or distraction for your state of being.

You can use a bike if it's far.

The goal is to go there,

To be relaxed,

To walk,

To breathe,

To contemplate,

To develop and use your five senses.

It's really a holistic approach.
