Welcome to Bell practice.

I am Tanya Bell.

This meditation is inspired by the shared experiences of women navigating the sacred life transition of perimenopause.

May these affirmations support your nervous system,

Ground your awareness,

And celebrate your process while cultivating peace through it all.

To begin,

I invite you to find comfort in your body.

You may choose to sit or to lie down.

And once you've found some comfort,

I invite you to close your eyes if that feels good.

We will start by taking three breaths.

Breathing in for a count of four,

Breathing out for a count of four.

Breathe in,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold.

Breathe out,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold.

Breathe in,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold.

Breathe out,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold.

Breathe in,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Hold.

Breathe out,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold.

Now relax into your natural breathing rhythm.

Gently focusing on the flow of your breath.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest or stomach.

Notice the feeling of air flowing in and out of your body.

In and out,

In and out.

Now bring your attention to the surface of what is supporting you.

Is it soft or firm?

What do the textures feel like?

Notice how that surface supports your body.

Allow yourself to release your weight just a bit more.

Relax into that chair,

Bed or floor.

Enjoy and savor being supported.

Take a deep breath here.

You may choose to listen along to the following affirmations or repeat them after me.

It is safe to transform into all I am meant to be.

It is safe to transform into all I am meant to be.

I am safe.

I am safe.

I am safe.

It is okay to love my body.

It is okay to love my body.

I am worthy.

I am worthy.

I am worthy.

I am growing and expanding into the fullness of me.

I am integrating all I have learned and all of the wisdom that I hold.

I am integrating all I have learned and all of the wisdom that I hold.

It feels good to be whole.

Take a deep breath here.

This moment in my life journey is here to teach me and I am willing to listen.

This moment in my life journey is here to teach me and I am willing to listen.

I am willing to be at peace.

I am willing to be at peace.

I forgive,

I let go,

And grow.

I forgive,

I let go,

And grow.

I am willing to ask for and receive support.

I am willing to ask for and receive support.

Take a deep breath here.

Life is for me and I am here to live it fully and gloriously.

Life is for me and I am here to live it fully and gloriously.

It feels good to blossom.

It feels good to blossom.

I am only beginning.

Here is when the fun starts.

I am only beginning.

Here is when the fun starts.

I love my body.

I find freedom in my creativity and joy.

I find freedom in my creativity and joy.

I am amazing.

I am in my butterfly era.

I am changing with ease and grace.

I am in my butterfly era.

I am changing with ease and grace.

I am in my butterfly era.

I am changing with ease and grace.

Maybe this is the deepest breath you have taken all day.

You can bring your practice to a close with three intentional breaths at your own pace,

Releasing them with a gentle sigh.

I invite you to bring your awareness back into the space you are in.

You can wiggle your fingers and toes.

Bring your attention to the textures and the fabric that you are wearing.

You can stretch if that feels good.

Do a little shimmy if that feels good.

And if your eyes have been closed,

Please feel free to open them.

Thank you for practicing today.

May you enjoy the fullness of your glorious self.
