Digestion.

Digestion is about expression.

It's digesting the things that come into your world,

Your thoughts,

Your feelings,

Your emotions and the healthy expression or elimination of them.

Lots of us haven't felt safe communicating.

We haven't been taught the skills to safely communicate our wants or our needs.

We might really struggle to express ourselves.

And so the bowel will do it for you.

Sometimes people will get a fast-moving bowel,

So lots of diarrhea,

Maybe some unpredictability.

And that can be often because you are inexpressive and like you need to really get everything out.

It might also be your body's way of expressing on your behalf.

So if there's really important stuff you do need to get out that you're not getting out,

Your body's gonna move it out for you.

And similarly,

But on the opposite end,

For people who have stuff that is really important to express but it doesn't feel safe,

They don't know who to express it to,

They don't have the skills,

They'll hold it in.

And those are our constipated people.

They're holding all their shit in,

Literally,

Figuratively,

Emotionally.

And it's toxic.

The ways that unhealthy expression,

Undeveloped expression,

Can show up can be from little rumblings,

You know,

Gassiness,

Bloating and things like that,

All the way up to,

I'm now turning into a disease state,

Crohn's,

Ulcerative colitis,

Etc.

So there are two parts to this.

The first part is an invitation to go away and start doing some work on being able to speak your truth safely,

Knowing that saying what's true for you doesn't have to be conflict,

It doesn't have to be unkind,

And it's safe to do so.

That's gonna look different for everyone,

So that's a personal journey.

But for today,

Let's do a visualization on the tummy and start offering some healing.

Lay down in a comfy position,

Make sure you're warm.

Close down your eyes and place either one or both hands on your belly and start to feel the way that your breath moves down into your belly.

Start to notice which parts of the belly move with ease and if there are maybe some parts of it that are a little bit stuck.

And we'll begin by bringing the breath visually all the way through the belly,

A little bit like a whirlpool.

So as you breathe in,

Breathe all the way in through your nose,

Take it right down into the belly and start letting that swirl around in a beautiful big pull.

So what we're bringing in here is flow and ease and energy.

And so with each breath out,

Your body softens and relaxes and then with each breath in,

Bring it in and bring it into that beautiful circular flow right through the abdomen,

Right around your belly button,

All the way around the edges.

Just really create that beautiful sense of flow.

There's a lovely light hue to this,

There's an energy of sort of a white light,

Blue light frequency.

And that's a really lovely way to start getting some healthy energy to all of the parts of your lower digestive system.

Just keep on breathing down right down into the belly,

Finding more and more softness,

More and more space,

Ease.

You might even notice you start getting some feedback,

Little bubbles or gurgles or movement.

We need to start trusting so when we get a symptom from the gut,

We don't need to give it a story that it's necessarily good or bad,

Just notice it for what it is.

We'll just spend another few minutes here bringing this easeful flow down into the belly.

Really enjoy that circular,

Effortless,

Easeful,

Energetic flow that comes in through your breath.

And while you're doing this,

Invite the mantra,

I trust my body.

Sometimes if the bowels are erratic,

It can actually be quite easy to lose trust in the body,

Start feeling unsafe.

It can change how you move through your world,

How you dress,

Where you go.

So just introduce the idea of trusting your body.

Your body is expressing emotions,

So we just need to get under the hood there.

Just a couple more big breaths,

Finding even more ease,

More softness.

Keep your hands on your belly now and find if you can any spots that stand out to you.

There might be dark areas,

You might see them as little knots,

Little bits that may be hurt.

You get some feedback.

Identify little pockets or little areas where you notice less energy flow,

Resistance,

Being closed off from the world.

Put your hand or your hands or your mind to those areas and just notice them for a moment.

Acknowledge them.

Thank them.

They've come to serve a purpose.

And now we're going to breathe in this bright gold light.

This is the ultimate healing light frequency.

It's actually really quite dense.

There's beautiful bright white light right on the inside of it but it's when you look at it you see gold and you're going to take that gold breath in through your nose all the way down through your digestive system and one at a time you're going to let that golden energy light flow directly into that little pocket in that little area or pain point.

You might see it filling it up,

Wrapping around it.

Just coming close to it even might be a great first step.

And know that this is healing,

Healing light.

This is energy from the universe that you are magnificently and quite magically bringing into your body.

You might have a tingle sensation or some warmth to it.

It might be a frequency you can feel.

And now do it for any other areas that came to your mind.

You might even choose to offer this golden light to your whole intestinal system.

Small bowel,

Big bowel,

Right down to your illumination point.

You might even see it coming out as if you were going to the toilet but sort of healing all of the lining,

All of the tissue the whole way through.

I'll just invite you now to find some ease and softness I'll just invite you now to find some ease and softness back into the body through your breath.

Don't rush through this.

Get really curious about any feelings that you notice come up for you as you find each of those points.

If there's a thought,

A feeling,

An emotion or a reaction that's amazing information.

That's the information that you take into your healing journey.

What are you protecting yourself from?

What are you not saying and why?

This is a subconscious expression by your body.

Because your body's listening.

I invite you to embrace the excitement and the possibility,

The healing potential that's here in this meditation.

This meditation is infused with universal healing and I trust that you have what it takes to figure out from your side what might be going on.

And just know that in the meantime you can visit this meditation and do this beautiful golden light treatment on your digestive system anytime and as many times as you are drawn to.

Each and every time it will offer healing to your digestive system.
