Grounded Peace: A Practice of Inner Resting is a gentle, embodied meditation designed to help you settle into the body and find calm without effort. Rather than trying to relax or fix anything, this practice invites you to rest within yourself, allowing the nervous system to soften and the body to feel supported from the inside. Especially helpful during seasons of transition, stress, or fatigue, it offers a simple way to experience grounded peace and inner stability. A steady companion for returning to presence, clarity, and ease. Suitable for all experience levels and especially supportive during times of stress, transition, or fatigue.

Welcome to Be With Melinda.

Take a moment to arrive.

You're welcome here exactly as you are.

Allow your breath to settle naturally without shaping or directing it.

Let awareness gently move out of the head and into the body.

Notice the simple fact of being here,

Supported by the ground.

Beneath you.

Bring attention to the lower half of your body.

The pelvis,

The hips,

The legs.

Sense how the body already knows how to rest downward.

There is nothing to achieve in this moment.

Nothing to manage.

Just the experience of being held by your own physical presence.

Let the shoulders soften and the jaw release.

Allow the weight of the body to be carried rather than contained.

If thoughts arise,

Notice them and let them pass without engagement.

You're simply being here without needing to follow anything right now.

Feel how peace begins when effort stops.

Just enough settling to remind the nervous system that it can pause.

You may silently offer these words.

I allow myself to rest within.

I trust the body that carries me.

This is a practice of inner resting.

Notice how the body responds when you stop reaching outward and instead remain here.

Grounded.

Present.

Supported.

Inner resting is not withdrawal from life.

It is what allows life to move through you with less strain.

Rest here for a few breaths,

Letting the body do what it already knows how to do.

As we close,

Take one final breath.

Slow,

Easy,

And complete.

And thank you for practicing with me today.

May you move through your day grounded in peace,

Resting within yourself,

And remembering that you do not have to hold everything alone.

One final breath.

And release.

And have a blessed day.
