Hi everyone,

Thank you for joining me today.

My name's Shari Ashana,

And I look forward to guiding you to greater health,

Healing,

And happiness.

In today's meditation,

We're gonna take some time out for ourselves,

Just to regroup and decompress from the busyness of our busy lives,

And all the chaos that sometimes is happening around us.

So I'm encouraging you to practice daily your breath work,

And as you practice more and more,

You'll be able to extend the time further and further,

And what you'll begin to find is that distractions become few and far between,

And you're able to slip further and further in that gap just in between the knowing,

The conscious,

And the unconscious,

Tapping in deeper and deeper with our own innate inner wisdom,

And really,

Really tapping into the deeper parts of ourselves,

Connecting into our intuition,

Our joy,

Our love and excitement.

Just begin to breathe again.

Breathe into ourselves,

Breathing into the silence,

Breathing into those little spaces in between the cracks of everything.

So today,

We're gonna start with a really simple meditation.

It's just five minutes,

Five minutes to start your day,

To bring about greater clarity,

Greater contentment,

And more health benefits so that you can journey through life feeling more expansive and just wonderful.

So beautiful divine one,

Invite you now to just find a beautiful,

Comfy position,

A comfortable spot where you can just sit for the next five minutes and take some time out to breathe.

Feeling,

Starting to feel comfortable,

Whether you're sleeping,

Comfortable whether you're sitting or lying down.

Feeling the weight of your body wherever you are right now,

Wherever you're positioned.

Feeling the weight of your beautiful body as you start to follow your breath.

Feeling into your breath,

Knowing your breath.

You're gonna take a deep breath straight into the lower parts of your belly,

Allowing your stomach to fully expand and fill up with beautiful life force energy.

And when it reaches the base of your stomach,

Allowing yourself to exhale slowly,

Allowing the stomach to contract,

Breathing out to reach the next in breath.

I invite you to just follow your natural breath for a few moments,

Just taking your time,

Allowing the shoulders to loosen and giving yourself full permission to arrive right here,

Right now.

All we have is this present moment.

All we have is this moment right here,

Right now,

Nothing else.

So you have full permission to let it all go.

And as you're breathing here,

We're gonna start to deepen the breath a little bit more.

We're gonna do something that's called one breath.

One breath,

One breath,

One breath.

We're gonna do something that's called one-to-one breathing.

So that means it's an even count on the inhale and an even count on the exhale.

So we're gonna start with three and we're gonna take it to five and five.

So just breathing,

Just releasing all the air from your lungs.

We're gonna start the count now.

And breathing in,

One,

Two,

Three,

Hold.

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Three.

Inhale,

One,

Two,

Three.

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Three.

Inhale,

One,

Two,

Three.

Inhaling,

Two,

Three.

Exhaling,

Two,

Three.

Repeating that now on your own,

Taking your time for the next few moments.

Count of three.

And now we're gonna increase it to four,

Increasing.

So on the in breath,

Taking an inhale of four.

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Inhale,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Carry on for a few more moments on your own,

Following the count of four.

And now we're gonna continue that to five.

So taking your inhale in,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Inhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Exhale,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Just carrying on for a few more moments,

Follow the count of five.

And now bringing it back to your normal breath,

Just letting that go now,

The counts returning to normal,

Allowing yourself to breathe,

Feeling your body on the floor or on the chair,

The floor is just starting to feel the body and the body is just starting to feel the body.

So just taking a few more breaths,

Just letting yourself breathe,

Feeling your body on the floor or on the chair that you're sitting in,

And just allowing yourself to arrive back into the room,

Starting to wiggle your toes,

And starting to just feel the energetic shift that's just taken place,

And that you can give this to yourself in any moment,

Stressed,

Tired,

Confused,

Even happy or overexcited,

Any moment that you feel you need to stop,

And know that it's okay to stop in any moment.

It's okay to gift yourself this time,

To take time out to be with yourself,

To be with your heart and be with your soul,

And give thanks,

Give thanks for this time,

Holding your hands in prayer position to your heart,

And wishing you the most beautiful,
