Talk: Fate Vs Destiny

In the Andean traditions, they speak of fate vs destiny. Fate is the life that we live when we are just on autopilot. It's the life that is handed down to us through our lineage from our parents and their parents before them and their parents before them and their parents before them and so on. Destiny is when you choose your path when you decide that you are going to step into a different reality.

When you say that you are not the sum of your circumstances, that you have a choice and you are going to change the things you believe, the things that you do, and the things that you say and have them all be in alignment with the life you wish to live.

I live my life in a dance with destiny. As I was handed this talk this morning from the eather it seemed, I was already in the middle of drawing the word DESTINY in all capital letters across a sheet of watercolor paper.
