Welcome to Eros Nidra.

Awaken your sensuality.

My name is Ashley Bentley and I'm so glad you could join me here today.

This practice is designed to help you connect deeply within yourself,

Awakening your body's natural capacity for pleasure,

Presence,

And deep self-awareness.

Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique that invites deep relaxation while maintaining a state of focused awareness,

Allowing your mind and body to enter a flow state that is deeply restorative.

And as you journey through this practice,

You'll be invited to connect with your inner sensations,

Building a relationship with your body that strengthens not only your connection to your sensuality,

But also your overall sense of well-being.

By tapping into your body's natural rhythms and pleasure centers,

You're not just enhancing your sensuality,

You're fostering self-empowerment and emotional resilience.

Science shows us that practices like Yoga Nidra can promote neuroplasticity,

Rewiring the brain to foster more profound self-connection and enhance the body's ability to feel pleasure.

By guiding your awareness through your body,

This practice stimulates both the parasympathetic nervous system,

Which calms and relaxes,

And the brain's reward centers,

Laying the groundwork for a more harmonious and pleasurable relationship with yourself and with others.

This session is about beginning this journey with yourself,

Starting to nurture and cultivate a deep,

Authentic connection with your body.

And in doing so,

You open yourself to the possibility of living more fully,

Sensually,

And connected to your true essence.

Let this be a time for you,

A time to relax,

Explore,

And awaken.

Let's start by finding a comfortable position,

Lying down on your back,

With your arms resting at your sides.

And allow your palms to face upwards,

Inviting a sense of openness and receptivity.

Gently close your eyes and allow the natural rhythm of your breath to become your anchor.

Good,

That's right.

We're going to begin a journey of deep relaxation and exploration into the subtle currents of your body.

There's no need to strive or force anything.

Let this be an effortless unfolding,

Simply observing whatever arises.

As we move through this practice,

You may notice sensations or feelings,

Perhaps even the faintest whisper of desire or pleasure.

Imagine these experiences without judgment and without expectation.

Let them be as they are.

Can you now bring to mind your Sankalpa,

Your intention for today's experience?

Your Sankalpa reinforces the goal of building a deeper connection with the body,

Cultivating awareness of sensuality and fostering self-empowerment.

This intention will focus on self-compassion and acceptance,

Allowing yourself to open up to your sensual self in a loving and non-judgmental way,

Ensuring it is short,

Positive and in the present tense.

For example,

You could state,

I am deeply connected to my body and its natural pleasure.

Or,

I honor my body and embrace my sensuality with love and acceptance,

Mentally whispering your Sankalpa three times now.

I'd like you to now bring your attention to the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.

Feel the weight of your body,

How it is being held and supported,

And notice the sensation of gravity pulling you gently into the earth,

Allowing your body to completely relax.

Bring your awareness now to your toes,

And feel the space around each toe,

And as you exhale release any tension that might be held there,

And move your attention up to your feet,

Your ankles,

And your calves.

Simply observe the sensations.

You might feel a sense of tingling or a warmth.

There's no need to try and change anything.

Just observe.

Now bring your awareness to your knees,

And your thighs,

And both hips.

As you move your awareness through these areas,

Feel a subtle release with each outbreath,

As though each breath is softening and opening these parts of your body,

And gently bring Bring your awareness to your pelvis,

To the space where your hips meet the lower belly,

And feel into this space with a sense of curiosity,

Allowing whatever sensations arise to simply be.

This is the root of your body's energy,

A place of deep connection to your sensual self.

Shifting your focus now to the breath,

Noticing the way your body rises and falls with each inhalation and exhalation.

There's no need to alter the breath.

Just observe how it moves,

How it naturally flows.

Now,

As you breathe,

Begin to imagine each inhale gathering warmth and energy at the base of your spine,

In the pelvis.

And with each exhale,

Allow that energy to expand gently,

Moving through your body.

You may feel a subtle tingling or warmth,

Just let it be.

You don't need to push or force this sensation.

Simply observe it,

Inhaling gathering energy into the pelvis,

And exhaling,

Feel that energy begin to radiate outwards,

Filling your abdomen,

Your hips,

And your lower back.

Let the energy move naturally,

Effortlessly.

Allow this warmth to gently travel upwards,

And on each exhale,

Feel it rise through the body,

First into the belly,

And then into the chest.

It's not a rush.

It's a slow,

Mindful expansion of energy,

Allowing the body to open to its own rhythm.

And as you continue to breathe,

Bring your awareness to the subtle sensations of the body,

The feeling of the air on your skin,

The texture of fabric against your body.

Notice the areas of your body that feel alive with sensation.

Maybe it's in your hands,

Or the soles of your feet,

Or maybe there's a quiet hum in your lower belly,

Or your chest.

Let your awareness roam through the body with curiosity,

Exploring the sensations of pleasure that might already be present.

These can be subtle,

Almost imperceptible.

A warmth in the hands,

A tingling in the spine,

A soft pulse in the belly.

Shifting your attention now to your heart center.

As you breathe into this space,

Feel the chest gently expand.

This is the seat of connection,

The bridge between your inner world and the world around you.

And with each inhale,

Imagine this space filling with warmth and love for yourself and for your body.

And with each exhale,

Allow that warmth to spread,

Radiating outwards.

Begin to imagine that each breath is bringing in a sense of deep connection to yourself,

To your desires,

And to the present moment.

And with each exhale,

Letting go of any tension,

Any expectations.

Just be here in this moment with your body,

Allowing yourself to feel.

We'll now take a journey through the body,

Inviting each part of you to awaken to the sensations of pleasure and connection.

Let's start by focusing on the soles of your feet.

Imagine that with each breath,

They are becoming more alive,

More attuned to the subtle pleasure of being present.

And slowly move your awareness up through your ankles,

Into the calves,

The knees,

And the thighs.

And when you reach the pelvis,

Take a few moments to really rest your awareness here.

This is a place of deep energy and creativity.

Allow any sensations of warmth,

Tingling,

Or pleasure to surface.

There's nothing to do here,

Just allow yourself to feel.

And as you move upwards,

Bring your attention to the belly,

And the chest,

And your heart.

Imagine a warm,

Radiant energy pulsing through these areas.

Allow yourself to feel whatever arises.

Perhaps it's a feeling of softness,

Or a gentle stirring of desire.

Let it be exactly as it is.

Now,

Bring your awareness to your throat,

Your jaw,

And your face.

And feel the softness in your lips,

The relaxation in your jaw.

And let your whole face relax,

As though it's opening to the sensations of the present moment.

And finally,

Bring your awareness to the crown of your head,

Imagining this as a space of openness and connection.

And feel the entire body as a unified whole,

Fully present,

Fully alive with sensations.

And as we begin to close this practice,

Take a moment to feel the entire body alive,

Relaxed,

And open.

You may feel a deeper connection to your body now,

To the subtle sensations of pleasure and awareness that flow through you.

There's no need to hold on to any particular feeling or sensation.

Simply know that you have the capacity to connect with this part of yourself whenever you choose,

Through breath,

Through presence,

And through awareness.

Can you bring to mind again your intention for today,

Your sankalpa,

Mentally whispering it three times now?

And as you slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the room,

To the surface beneath you,

Just take a few deep breaths.

And wiggle your fingers and toes,

Inviting gentle movement back into the body.

And when you're ready,

And not a moment before,

You can feel free to slowly open your eyes,

Carrying with you this sense of connection and sensual presence into the rest of your day.
