This meditation invites you into new possibilities with your relationship with time. One of our most valuable assets of living right up there with health. Robert Halley invites you to discover gaps between your breath. To know that it is possible to be an alchemist of your time-space reality. Explore gaps of silence, and observe the similarities between visualizing oceans paired with your breath. This meditation will deepen your senses to be aware of the suspended phenomenon between the in and out breath. Do you even exist in the gap? Or do you merge with the whole? Is this the same phenomenon between gabs of thoughts? Increase your faith to believe that stillness is possible, and you can be an alchemist of time calling on a safe space when you need to reset your nervous system. I welcome you to this meditation of suspending time to discover possibilities.

My name is Robert Halle and I will be your guide to discover gaps between breath and how the power of your mind supports you to release and receive.

This ebb and flow helps you to know that it is possible to be an alchemist of time to unravel reality.

The body is linked to the mind and to the breath,

To the emotions.

And so we start there.

Settle like the sand of an hourglass.

It finds gravity in a gentle way.

So maybe you rock your body right to left,

Forward to back.

Sometimes we're so in our head that you forget you have this body temple.

And so be here now.

Let your breath flow freely.

And with every exhale,

You drop in more and more and more.

Feel the weight of your bones and your pelvis.

Freedom,

Extended suspension in the spine.

Your jaw is relaxed and so is your tongue.

Attune to your personal choice in the moment to close your eyes completely.

Maybe have them half closed or to be gently focused with them open on a drishti point in front of you.

If stillness in your body feels right,

Exist there.

Or have a meditative little rock back and forth or front to back.

Be distinct in that choice and allow the experience to unravel.

Allow this attention and presence with yourself to drift down the equilibrium of your legs.

Whether your legs are extended,

Laying down,

Seated,

Or crossed.

Whether your feet are on the floor or exposed.

Feel the flow down the pelvis into the right and left sides of your legs.

Steady the anchor of your lower body.

Steady this connection to Mother Gaya and to the magnetism and energetics of what the lower chakras offer.

It's not that you're necessarily heavy or weighted.

You're just steady and supported.

It's like you know each other.

The roots,

Lower limbs,

Lower chakras of your body and the roots and energetics of what's in the earth.

You know each other from this lifetime and many others.

You give.

You release.

You release the worry and you are calm.

You release known and unknown traumas in the body and you receive freedom of movement in exchange.

Allow this back and forth,

This knowingness and generosity to birth light.

Light that you actually see,

Visualize,

And feel.

Feel it grow through and through.

Grow into this light.

It's like a sacred serpent in your tailbone.

It's dim,

But it's there and it shines and grows through each vertebra from the tailbone up to the mid thoracic spine into the upper cervical spine.

This light spirals with grace,

Hypnotic motion until it reaches and illuminates your whole brain.

And all of a sudden you find a suspended space all around you like you broke through clouds,

Through the highest heights of imagination and it feels so peaceful.

It's a place that you know from other lifetimes,

Avatars,

And levels of consciousness.

You feel protected,

Safe,

And most importantly,

You feel free.

With every inhale,

You're lifted up to discover more space.

With every exhale,

You come back down,

But you know it's there.

Inhale,

Suspend,

And discover.

Exhale,

Return.

Inhale,

Suspended space of calm.

Exhale,

You lose any and all worry.

Allow freedom of movement.

Allow yourself as you are.

Breathe and flow with every breath cycle in cycle in and out.

The image of an ocean appears.

There is a constant flow to the tide.

It draws into the beach,

To the shores,

To the golden sand.

It draws out with a deep depth of mystery.

There is constant flow to your breath,

For you receive it and expand,

Oxygenate,

Lift the chest.

Exhale,

Chest down,

Ribs in,

Navel back,

Expelling carbon dioxide.

You are the phenomenon,

And you and you see this phenomenon right on the shores of the earth.

In this first gap of silence,

Observe the similarities of ocean and breath.

Maybe they influence one another to deepen and to start to see and to sense that mystery of suspension.

Do you notice the phenomenon of the in-between?

What's there between the tide in and the tide out?

Between the breath in and the breath out,

What's there?

Bear witness to this breath.

Deepen,

Allow suspension of time.

Do you even exist in the gap,

Or do you merge with the whole?

Is this the same phenomenon when there's gaps between our thoughts,

Gaps between our words,

Where you just gaze into another's eyes?

What are these suspended moments?

Is it the sacredness of our souls,

Of being?

Allow any and all things to melt away.

No strained thoughts.

Your thoughts melt away.

Any strained,

Efforted,

Reflected reflections melt away.

Any strained reflections melt away.

Your hopes melt away.

Any fears melt away.

Even in this moment,

Your dreams melt away.

Your surroundings melt away.

They're still there,

Circulating in the microcosmic orbs,

So fear not.

Just give yourself the space and the grace to face any identity,

Any associations of what is left when it's just you and your breath.

You with this phenomenon of oceans that flow within.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Notice the pauses,

The suspensions,

The ebb and flow that may be happening naturally in this moment.

If that feels comfortable,

Stay there.

For a deeper,

More structured exploration,

I introduce box breath,

Where you breathe in,

You suspend and sustain for a few counts.

And you breathe out,

Empty the lungs,

And you sustain the breath out.

You can pick a number.

For example,

Breathe in 2,

3,

4.

Suspend and hold 2,

3,

4.

Exhale out 2,

3,

4.

Keep the air out 2,

3,

4.

Continue your breathing,

Whether box breath or natural.

I will allow a pocket of silence to be with your breath like a helium balloon.

Suspension moments exist.

What happens to the mind,

To the heart,

To the body in these suspended moments?

Be the witness.

There's always something to receive.

There's always something to release.

Breathe in,

Calm.

Stand there and see calmness as a reality.

Breathe out any worry.

It dissipates in the air.

Exist in the void,

Where there's no shadows.

It's just not part of your reality.

Breathe in,

Feel suspension,

Where limbs get to dance in freedom of movement.

Breathe out and know that trauma is not there.

It's safe to play,

To be authentically you,

Even in such movement in and out.

Stillness is still possible.

You can be an alchemist of time.

With every cycle of breath,

Every pause,

You lose time.

You find eternal time.

Know this conversation and circumstance is possible.

Just stay there between your breath a little bit longer,

Suspended.

The suspension of time with your breath.

Feel free to abandon the structure of box breath and find equal structure in an intuitive way,

Intuitively exploring time,

Breath,

And your chosen reality.

You lengthen the length of pauses as you wish.

Give yourself this experience.

Find out things.

What can and do you access?

No matter how the body reacts,

You strengthen the relationship with your mind because it does play tricks.

Yet you build focus,

A discipline,

An adaptability,

A conscious creatively,

Motion and movement,

Body,

Mind,

And breath.

If at all you feel uneasy,

Just let go.

Let it flow.

Natural breath is there.

There will always be a suspension.

Play with that suspension,

That gap,

To exist in the gap.

What is it like to let go of control?

The body needs the oxygen to exist in this time,

Space,

Earthly reality.

So explore.

Be curious.

How long can you keep the air retained in?

How long can you keep the air in?

Does your heart start to beat and pulse more passionately?

Do you feel the blood in your veins?

Be the observer of all inner phenomenon that is happening and be the observer of the outer image of the ocean.

Inhale,

Rolling to the shore,

Maybe covering,

Kissing your feet.

Exhale,

Water rolling out,

Little crabs run,

Rocks and shells revealed.

I will allow a final gap of silence to observe the inner and outer phenomenons of any imagery.

With ease and grace,

You gently release any images of the ocean and you gently release any structures of breath.

See your body,

Your body.

Sense the density of your bones like mountains,

Like the trunks of trees.

Again,

With an equilibrium,

An alchemy of understanding,

Energy down,

Energy releasing and receiving.

See and sense the blood flow in the body,

The energetic meridians like the rivers of the world releasing,

Receiving,

Complete circulation.

See and sense the tendons and the organs,

Dense tissue like flora and fruit of the natural world.

You are a phenomenon,

An organic being that feeds on light.

Feel this light now in all the spaces and places.

The light from the sun,

The light from your soul,

Feed on the light and feel suspended.

Know that it is there.

So much possibilities in the suspension of breath,

Of thoughts,

Even your hopes and dreams.

This is a creative space where you can be with you and your creator,

You with your inner being.

My wish for you is to continually be an alchemist of time and to always know that there is a safe space there to retreat,

To reset the nervous system,

To reset the muse,

The magician.

You are possible.

Nothing is impossible.

I'm possible.

I'm possible.

You can release anything and you can receive any and all desires.

Stay in this tender place as long as you'd like,

In this empowered place where you conceive your reality,

Where you pause time to cultivate,

To activate and to remember who you really are.

In the gap,

You can be suspended.

In the gap,

You can be grounded.

As the alchemist,

Any and all is possible.

Come back with grace and flow.

Choose to make a beautiful voyage back with a grin of possibility.

Your breath is real.

So is the incarnation of you.

Fingers wiggle,

Eyes blink.

I wish you grace,

Ease,

Flow,

And flight forever and ever and ever.
