Welcome to this mindfulness practice as we focus on the quality of courage.
Ensure you're comfortably lying down or sitting warm and peaceful in a quiet place.
Whether you are feeling weak or courageous today,
Remember that there is very little difference between the two states of being.
For both have fear.
It is said that the coward listens to his fears and becomes frozen by them and or controlled by them.
The courageous person puts them aside and pushes through or meanders around the obstacles and refuses to be ruled by dread.
When you enter uncharted territory,
Take a deep breath and forge your way ahead.
Accept the challenge of the unknown.
Accepting the challenge of the unknown is courage.
Accept your challenges again and again and again and then all that was fearful will soon dissipate.
Observe the difficulties.
Intuitively sense the path to take.
Allow change.
Welcome change.
Know that change is as inevitable as it is transformational.
Courage paves the way for integrity.
Integrity paves the way for emotional intelligence.
Intelligence is curiosity.
Curiosity opens your world.
Scan your body now for any point in which you are holding tension or fatigue.
Sense softness,
Calm and harmony at the crown of the head.
Rest your hands beside you.
Your palms open in an attitude of giving and receiving.
Draw your chin in a little so it's not placing a burden upon your shoulders by jutting out.
Soften your eyes above the eyes behind the eyes.
Drop your jaw again,
Again and again.
Focus upon your breath.
As you breathe in,
Notice that the body fills with energy.
Allow it to flow through you,
Filling your entire being with breath from your head to your toes and back out into the ether.
Allow the breath to breathe you.
As you find yourself more and more relaxed,
Allowing your breathing to become deeper and deeper until you feel as one with yourself,
With the spaciousness that surrounds you,
The sounds that move by you,
The rhythm of your heartbeat and the blood flowing through your veins.
Be aware of the fact that you are breathing.
Allow my voice to serve you,
To guide you to your inner world.
Breathe slowly,
Deeply.
I am strong.
I am strong.
I am breathing in.
I am breathing out.
I conquer all that I fear.
I conquer all that I fear.
I conquer all that I fear.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I am enough.
I am enough.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
I am at peace with myself.
I am at peace with myself.
I am at peace with my world.
I am at peace with my world.
I trust.
I trust.
I calm my body.
I calm my body.
I soothe my mind.
I soothe my mind.
I welcome change.
I welcome change.
My past is my past.
My past is my past.
I let go of my fears.
I let go of my fears.
Courage come forth.
Courage come forth.
I shall remain silent for a little while as you focus simply on your breath.
Allow rest to come.
My voice will come back to you soon.
Be aware of your breathing.
Notice its cycle in pause.
Sound pause.
Be aware of your breathing.
Notice its cycle in pause.
Out pause.
I am strong.
I am strong.
I am strong.
I conquer all that I fear.
I conquer all that I fear.
I am safe.
I am safe.
I am enough.
I am enough.
The breath.
The breath.
The breath.
I soothe my mind.
I let go of my fears.
Courage come forth.
Let an hour gently draw your hands towards your heart.
Rest one on top of the other.
Notice the strength of your resolve.
When you enter uncharted territory,
Take a deep breath and forge your way ahead.
Accept the challenge of the unknown.
Accepting the challenge of the unknown is called courage.
You cannot swim for new horizons until you have courage to lose sight of the shore.
Be aware.
Be clear.
Be strong.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
Peace.
Peace.
Peace.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
Peace.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
Peace.
