Welcome to your vibrant body and reconnect.
With the life within.
So just take a moment to settle into your comfy space,
Warm and cosy.
Just rest in any way that your body is asking for today.
That your hands rest somewhere naturally.
And when you're ready,
Just gently close your eyes.
There is nowhere else you need to be,
Just here,
In this moment.
So for the next few minutes you are simply coming home.
To the living presence of your body.
So just begin by noticing the places where your body is being held.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your weight.
And just receiving you completely.
And just allow yourself to be supported.
Now bring your awareness to your breath.
And just simply notice that your breath is already here.
Softly moving in.
And softly moving out.
And you notice your body is breathing itself.
Because the inhale,
Life enters.
And the exhale your body softens.
Breathe in gently.
And slowly breathe out,
Just releasing any stress or tightness or tension.
Breathe in.
Just allow your out-breath to become just a little longer now.
Like a quiet sigh traveling through you.
Good.
And notice how your body responds when you offer it time.
Your shoulders release a fraction.
The muscles around your eyes softened.
Your jaw releases.
Your hands become a little less busy.
And this is a meeting between you and your body.
It's a wonderful opportunity to listen.
So often we experience the body from the outside.
We see its shape.
Notice its changes.
Sometimes we compare it with how it once was or how we think it should be.
So,
For now,
Just let all of that fall away.
Because you're not looking at your body.
But you are sensing it from within.
So take a moment and just feel the quiet warmth of being alive.
Because your body does not need to be perfect to be vibrant.
Vibrancy is not constant energy or strength,
Youth or ease,
But it is the quiet pulse of life within you.
Your breath still arriving.
Your heart still arriving.
Still answering and the countless unseen movements carrying you through this moment.
So just bring your awareness now to the center of your chest.
Bring your hand to this space and just notice the movement of your breath.
The subtle pulse.
The wall.
The rising and falling.
Within you,
Your heart is continuing its ancient rhythm.
By beat.
It has accompanied every chapter of your life.
Every joy.
Every moment.
Every beginning.
And every moment that you thought you could not move through,
But somehow you did.
And your heart has been here and it's quietly carrying life through you.
So now just say inwardly to yourself.
I feel you.
I am here with you.
I feel you I am here with you.
And just let those words echo through your being.
Now feel your awareness becoming softer and more spacious.
Sense your breath spreading beyond the lungs.
It's as though each inhale is creating a gentle ripple throughout your body.
Across your chest.
Through your shoulders and arms.
All the way down into your hands and fingertips.
And now with the next breath.
Just sense that ripple moving through your ribs,
Your back.
Your belly,
The whole center of you.
And with another breath now.
Just allow it to travel through your pelvis,
Your hips,
Legs and feet,
All the way to the tips of your toes.
Breath after breath.
Awareness that is reaching through your whole being.
Deepening.
Vibrant body.
Beneath the surface there is so much happening.
The blood is flowing,
Your cells are communicating and your body is sensing,
Adjusting and responding.
This is an entire inner world that moves quietly.
Without needing to be directed.
You don't have to understand every part of this mystery to honor it.
But just for a moment,
Just notice the extraordinary life within you.
It's steady,
It's intricate and it's luminous.
Maybe you begin to sense a color within your body.
It may appear golden,
Deep green,
A soft rose,
Blue,
Violet.
Or something that is completely you.
Just let it represent your particular essence of aliveness.
Not something that is brought in from the outside because it is something that is already here.
It's your quiet inner radiance.
Now see or sense or feel it gathering gently around your heart.
And then let it flow with each breath.
Into your chest and shoulders,
Through your arms and hands,
Feel it flow across your back,
Your belly,
Your pelvis,
Legs,
Feet.
Just let it glow in the way that feels so natural for you today.
Remember that even the smallest ember holds light.
And now just notice whether there is any part of your body that is feeling particularly tired.
Maybe tender,
Uncomfortable.
Tight.
All changed.
Do not need to cover these areas with positivity.
And you do not have to love.
Every sensation.
But just allow this part of you to be included.
And just let your awareness rest nearby.
Gently,
Without pressing or demanding.
It's as though you might sit beside someone you care for.
Without needing to find the perfect words.
So you are breathing with this part of your body.
Making room for what is true and quietly offering You belong here too.
You are not separate from my love.
Wonderful.
So your body is not something standing between you and life,
But it is the way you meet life.
Through your body,
You have felt sunlight against your skin.
You have heard music,
Laughter,
Rain against a window and the voice of someone you love.
Through this body you have breathed in the scent of flowers and earth.
You have reached out,
Held hands.
Offered comfort.
Created.
Rested,
Begun again.
And your body has really allowed the world to touch you.
It truly has carried your presence into this world.
Take a slow breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Release the idea that your body must earn your kindness.
Because it doesn't have to look a certain way.
It doesn't have to perform perfectly.
And it really doesn't have to be the body that it was yesterday or 10 years ago or before life changed.
Because your body as it is in this moment is so worthy of your tenderness and your care.
Body love does not begin with loving every part,
But it begins right here with no longer turning away,
With listening instead of judging.
With speaking more gently.
And with recognizing that you and your body have never been on opposing sides because your body has always been trying to carry you through.
So just imagine now your whole body breathing as one.
Crown of your head,
Your face,
Jaw and throat,
Your heart,
Your belly,
Your arms and hands,
Your legs and feet.
This is one living presence.
This is your vibrant body.
Not because every part feels easy,
But because life is here.
It is breathing.
Here.
It is feeling here.
And it is meeting this moment through you.
So silently repeat these words after me and just allow them to settle in whatever way feels true for you.
I honor the life within my body.
I listen to my body with tenderness.
I release the need to be perfect.
Every part of me is welcome here.
My body and I are learning to belong to one another again.
Beautiful.
So just take one deeper breath in now.
Receive that breath through your whole body.
And just let it go slowly.
And just become aware of your surroundings,
Your body,
Resting.
Notice the space around you.
Gently roll your shoulders in any way that feels good for you.
Give yourself a gentle stretch,
Stretch your body.
And just slowly open your eyes.
And take a moment to recognize your extraordinary living home.
It's not a body that needs constant improvement but it is a body that you can inhabit.
A body you can listen to.
A body through which love,
Wonder and life can continue to move.
And just carry this knowing with you.
I am here within this extraordinary living home.
And there is an amazing,
Vibrant life within me.
So as you return,
Just return with a little more tenderness.
With a little more kindness.
A little more love.
For your body that has brought you here.
So thank you so much for sharing this journey with me.
Until the next time,
Namaste my friend.
