Welcome to this positive postpartum meditation.
Please begin by finding a comfortable seated position with your feet securely planted on the ground.
And take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Allowing yourself to settle into this moment.
This time,
As you breathe in,
Notice the feeling of your belly expanding.
Hold your breath for a moment at the top.
And then exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension you may be holding onto.
Breathing in,
Hold the breath for a few moments,
Then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Do this breathing cycle by yourself for a few moments as you relax to the music,
Allowing each breath to bring a sense of relaxation and calm into your mind and body.
Now bring your attention to the sensation of your body connecting with the surface that you're sitting on.
Feel the support of the chair or floor beneath you,
Supporting you in this present moment.
Allow your face,
Jaw,
And shoulders to relax.
Now imagine roots growing out of the soles of your feet and traveling into the earth below.
These roots give you stability and strength,
Helping you to feel grounded and settled in the present moment.
As you inhale,
Imagine that you're inhaling the energy of the earth through the roots stemming out of your feet.
As you exhale,
Soften your body and invite in a feeling of deeper relaxation.
As you continue to breathe calmly,
Feeling grounded and at ease,
Please repeat the following affirmations silently to yourself in your mind.
I am a capable,
Strong,
And resilient mother.
I trust myself to navigate through the challenges of motherhood.
I am surrounded by love and support.
Each day,
I grow more confident in my abilities as a mother.
I honor and respect my self-care needs.
I know that taking care of myself as a mother allows me to better care for my child.
I embrace the journey of motherhood with patience and grace.
Like every other mother,
I am always learning and evolving.
I am enough,
Just as I am right now.
Take a few more deep breaths into your belly and slowly exhale.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes and become aware of your surroundings once again.
Thank you for listening and wishing you a calm rest of the day.
