Welcome to Drift Into Stillness.

This meditation is your bridge to deep,

Restorative sleep.

Your only work tonight is to listen.

Listen and let go.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Whatever feels most natural,

Allowing your body to sink into your bed,

Completely supported.

Begin with three slow,

Easy breaths.

I invite you to inhale through your nose for a count of 4,

2,

3,

4,

Hold gently,

And then exhale through your mouth for 6,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6.

Do that again at your own rhythm,

Breathing in through your nose for the count of 4.

Noticing how each breath grows slower,

Deeper,

More effortless.

I invite you to feel a gentle wave of warmth spreading there,

Softening your scalp.

This warm wave moves across your forehead,

Smoothing every line,

Every spot.

The light moving down across your cheeks,

Your jaw softens.

The light moves to your chest.

Each breath opens you gently and effortlessly.

Your belly softens.

Every muscle from head to toe now feels deeply relaxed.

The soft waves of air in and out.

Simply notice and return to your breath.

Each time you return,

You sink a little deeper into stillness.

Imagining that soft,

Silver light at your heart center.

Expanding gently with each inhale.

Contracting softly with each exhale.

Anchoring you in perfect peace.

Trust the process.
