This guided meditation creates a safe space for you to fully relax, to put down what you've been carrying, and to allow yourself to surrender to the guidance of the Universe. It is when I get to a place of surrender that I begin to finally feel relief. I have created this meditation to create a nurturing & safe space of surrender for you. Namaste.

Hello and welcome.

My name is Amy,

And it is an honor to be here with you.

Find yourself in a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

Bringing one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly,

Giving yourself a moment to be fully present.

Whatever is feeling challenging for you,

Overstimulating,

Whatever is simply not feeling aligned for you right now.

Allow yourself to be in this moment,

Knowing that there is nothing else you need to do.

There is nothing you need to take care of,

Nothing you need to look up,

No conversations to be had.

Know that any action you do need to take,

You will be so much more aligned after giving yourself this time to reset and reconnect to yourself.

Allow yourself to feel any stress,

Any anxiety,

Any overwhelm,

All of the chattering in your mind that has been making you feel overstimulated and restless.

Perhaps you can feel little movements and tingling in your body as it begins to move and release these energies.

Maybe it feels good to consciously move your legs or your feet or your hands to physically move what is no longer serving you out of your body.

On your inhale,

Breathing in surrender.

And on an exhale,

Releasing anything that is not aligned for you.

Inhaling surrender and exhaling anything that does not feel good.

Begin to visualize yourself walking down a pathway.

There are birds chirping.

The sun is out.

There is the slightest breeze and the temperature is perfect.

Along the trail,

There are wildflowers and beautiful trees.

You can smell the sweet air.

You can feel the sun gently touching your skin.

But you notice that your arms feel heavy.

And as you look down,

You see that you are carrying suitcases in both of your hands.

You realize you have a backpack on your back.

The awareness of this makes it harder to hear the birds chirping.

It makes it harder to notice the sun caressing your skin.

All you can think about is how heavy these bags are.

How distracting they are from being in this present moment.

But you keep walking.

As you know,

This trail is leading to something better.

You notice that the trail is coming to an end.

And as you find yourself coming around the corner,

There is a bench.

Although initially you feel responsible for holding these bags,

There is a guilt tied to the idea of letting them go and putting them down.

As you become aware of this,

You're able to hear your heart whispering to you,

Telling you to sit down.

And through reluctance,

You allow yourself to move over to the bench,

Sitting down with the suitcases in your hand and the bag still on your back.

In this moment,

You realize that it is okay for you to set down the weight you are carrying.

You set down the bag in your right hand.

You take a big nurturing inhale.

And you exhale,

Releasing the guilt that came from wanting to let this go.

Take another deep,

Nurturing inhale.

On your exhale,

You release the suitcase in your left hand.

And yourself getting lighter and surrendering to this moment.

You begin to take the backpack off of your back,

Setting it down next to you.

And for the first time,

Since you can remember,

You feel light.

You feel free.

You know that everything is going to be okay.

You know you do not need to carry all of this.

On an inhale,

You breathe in,

Surrender.

And on an exhale,

You let go of every ounce of weight that you have been carrying.

Allowing yourself to feel your body as it relaxes,

As it surrenders.

Perhaps your body releases tears.

Finding so much relief in the knowing that everything is going to be okay.

For the first time in a long time,

You can feel your heart.

You can hear what it has been whispering to you all along.

Knowing without a doubt that your heart,

Your soul,

Your intuition,

They're always guiding you.

But they can be so hard to hear when you're weighed down with the things you think you need to be carrying.

Allowing yourself to just be here for a few moments.

Listening to the birds.

Feeling the sun on your skin.

Hearing the gentle breeze as it moves past you.

As it becomes time to get up from this bench,

You allow yourself to stand and begin walking back toward the trail.

But this time,

You're not carrying anything with you.

This time you are walking back along this trail.

This time you are allowing yourself to move with intention.

To move with the wind.

You're able to hear the birds around you.

You smell the sweet smell of the breeze as it passes you by.

You can feel how nurturing and healing the sun is upon your skin.

And as you make your way to the end of this trail,

You can hear your heart whispering to you.

What is yours will find you.

Release your grip so that what is no longer serving you can be released.

And everything that is meant for you will find its way into your arms.

Slowly begin to bring attention back into your body.

Wiggling your fingers.

Wiggling your toes.

Moving your head from side to side.

Placing both hands on your heart.

And taking a moment to be fully present in this sweet surrender.

The light in me honors the light in you.
