Welcome back to this moment of mindful presence.
I invite you to find a position that supports both comfort and awareness within your body.
For this moment,
There is nowhere else you need to be,
Nothing else you need to do.
Just for right here,
Just for right now,
Nowhere else to be,
Just here,
This moment.
Allow yourself to become aware of your breath,
Simply tuning in to its natural rhythm,
In and out.
Each cycle a gentle reminder of your presence here in this moment.
Breathing in and breathing out.
In our journey so far,
We've explored connecting with our inner power,
We've created inner spaciousness,
We've developed healthy boundaries,
And most recently,
We've cultivated focused presence.
Today,
We will explore a dimension of intelligence that complements your analytical mind,
The wisdom that exists beyond logic.
Let's begin by bringing awareness to your breath,
Allowing it to flow naturally without control or manipulation,
Simply observing this rhythm,
This life force within you.
In our professional landscape,
We're often rewarded for logical analysis,
Data-driven decisions,
And systematic thinking.
These capacities are invaluable,
Yet they represent just one aspect of our complete intelligence.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Now,
I invite you to bring your attention to your body,
Particularly the area around your heart and solar plexus.
These centers often process information differently than the analytical mind through sensations,
Impressions,
And what we sometimes call intuition.
As you continue breathing naturally,
Allow your awareness to rest in these areas.
Notice any subtle sensations,
Perhaps warmth or coolness,
Expansion or contraction.
No judgment,
Simply observing what is present for you.
Breathing in and breathing out.
This somatic intelligence has been guiding humans long before spreadsheets and data analytics.
It integrates countless inputs below the threshold of conscious awareness and communicates through the language of sensation and feeling.
For right here,
Right now,
Just breathing in and breathing out.
Nowhere else to be,
Just this moment,
Noticing.
I invite you to recall a time when you just knew something was right or wrong for you.
Perhaps a decision about a project,
A role,
Or a relationship.
Before you had all the information,
Before you had all the data,
Something in your body recognized the alignment or misalignment.
This isn't mystical thinking.
It's recognition of your body's sophisticated pattern recognition systems.
Systems that draw on your accumulated experience and wisdom.
Breathing in.
In moments of complex decision making,
This integrative intelligence can be a powerful complement to logical analysis.
Not replacing critical thinking,
But enriching it with dimensions that pure logic might miss.
As you continue breathing gently,
Bring to mind a current challenge or decision in your professional life.
Something that would benefit from your full intelligence,
Both analytical and intuitive.
Without forcing an answer,
Simply notice what sensations arise in your body as you hold this situation in your awareness.
Is there tension or ease?
Expansion or contraction?
Lightness or heaviness?
These sensations aren't random.
They're information from your integrated intelligence.
Continue breathing in and breathing out.
Learning to recognize and trust this broader intelligence takes practice,
Especially in environments that prioritize only data and logic.
Yet some of our greatest innovations have emerged not just from analysis,
But from intuitive leaps and embodied knowing.
As we prepare to gently close this meditation,
I invite you to consider how you might create small pauses in your day simply to check in with this body-based wisdom.
Perhaps before important meetings,
When evaluating options,
Or when something just doesn't quite add up despite the apparent logic.
I invite you to gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
To take one more deep breath,
And if they haven't been closed,
To slowly open your eyes.
I invite you to carry this new awareness of your complete intelligence with you into the rest of your day,
Remembering that your greatest contributions emerge when all aspects of your knowing are welcomed and integrated.
Thank you for sharing this practice with me today,
And I look forward to continuing this journey with you.
Blessings,
Friend,
Upon your day.
