Hello and welcome to this morning meditation on contemplating death.

In amongst the hustle and bustle of everyday life,

It can be easy to forget about our own mortality and the impermanence that surrounds us.

Vibrating death can help us realise what is really important in our lives.

It can teach us to be grateful for the opportunity to live.

So when you're ready,

Coming into your meditation position and this can be whatever feels right for you and we'll begin with three deep mindful breaths so,

Breathing in and letting go and breathing in and letting go and last time breathing in and letting go we'll start now by considering our own mortality just as many years ago on one particular day we were born in the same way one day our life will come to an end and we'll spend some time reflecting on this and we'll start now by considering our own mortality just as many years ago on one particular day our life will come to an end I'd like you now to consider if you were to die today what would you like to be remembered for?

How would you live this day?

And what would you like to see?

We'll now consider the mortality of those around us choose one person you care about and come to realise one day they too will die consider how you may relate to them differently with this knowledge maybe practicing more patience,

Kindness lastly we'll consider how death is ever present death is a necessary part of life life runs in cycles animals,

Plants and people all die and rebirth takes place and now letting go of the contemplation and we'll finish with one deep releasing breath so breathing in and letting go you
