One will become free from the fear of losing things, forms, people of the world by knowing that they all are inevitably changing, but I, as the one who is experiencing them, am forever unchanging. The Unchanging is Me.

Welcome to Peace and Love Shanti Sne Meditation.

A special thank you to the Insight Timer team.

Today I'm going to speak about and lead our attention to that peace which comes when we know I am undying,

Unchanging.

As human beings we conclude that change and changes are a part and parcel of our life.

It may be so.

It is so in the waking state of consciousness.

But we don't really think that I or my parents or my ancestors,

My dear and near ones,

Are changing and one day the ultimate change will come where I will not be able to see them.

I don't like that.

And that is a genuine,

Genuine sense and awareness that we all have.

And why is that sense that I don't like to end my life?

I don't like that one day all of this which I have may not be there.

All of this brings a sense of uneasiness in us.

For that we make efforts,

We struggle in order to create so that whatever I have it should last me forever.

And what is that which is most cherished by us?

That is the happiness,

The peace and love.

May I never be agitated.

I know my mood comes.

I know sometimes I get unhappy because the situations come that way.

Many times the love that we experienced in our childhood or teenage,

It's different now.

It's not there now.

And we miss it but at the same time we adjust to the idea that well the changes or the change is a very natural phenomenon in a human life.

But when I sit down every evening as we are now,

I sit in a comfortable position,

Close my eyes and watch the inner space.

I am watching the thoughts of the day,

What happened,

Who did I meet,

Where did I go?

All of those thoughts are flying through my mind.

They're coming,

Staying and disappearing.

They might be reappearing.

A new thought will appear.

But I'm not going to get perturbed because the thoughts are coming and here I am sitting down to meditate.

I have come to know that the change is the aspect and very natural part of our existence as this human life.

But I am the one that is seeing all the changes.

I never change.

And that power is gained to tap into that which is unchanging power in you.

The unchanging is the knowledge that is in me.

I saw,

I experienced,

Many thoughts.

But I am forever the one that is knowing them.

I never change.

Knowing this,

That I am eternally present no matter what experience is taking place.

The real me,

Which is not just this name,

Which is not just this body and the mind.

The real me is that which we are experiencing with our eyes closed right now,

Right here.
