Thank you for joining me today to make some time to meditate,
To take time for yourself,
To take a moment of peace and calm.
Make sure that you are comfortable in a seated position with your spine straight and your hands gently laying in your lap or perhaps laying down on your back with your chin slightly tucked towards your chest,
Relaxing your jaw,
Taking a deep inhale through your nose,
Opening the mouth and letting the air out.
In two more,
Inhale and exhale.
Another deep inhale,
Feeling the air entering through your nostrils,
Making your chest and your belly rise and as you exhale letting gravity do its thing,
Bringing your ribs closer towards your spine and the air comes out naturally and with ease.
This meditation is designed to give you a few moments of peace.
It's designed to allow you to loosen any tension and it's quite easy to do as you turn your focus inwards,
Breathing at a natural pace where in your body can you find a little tension,
A little knot in the muscles.
Just place your attention there and with your next inhale and your next exhale just allow that space to soften and you let go a little more.
Every inhale you find a point in your body that you can soften and every exhale you release a little bit more to gravity,
To softness,
To relaxation.
Spend a few breaths with your attention inside your body.
Slowly you will start to feel any stress melting away.
Your body becomes loose and heavy,
And heavy,
Grounded,
Soft,
Comfortable,
Safe.
This is your moment to let go,
To surrender and to allow yourself to just breathe.
There is nothing to do right now except fill your lungs and empty your lungs.
Moment by moment,
Resetting,
Resetting,
Slowly recharging and allowing yourself to return to a state of calm,
Of comfort,
Of safeness and just to be,
Just to be.
Enjoy the sensations of lightness and heaviness as your mind is liberated and your body is energized with your breath.
You can focus,
You can relax and you can just become you.
Spend as long as you like here,
Just breathing.
