This is a short meditation to really guide you in to your body's innate wisdom any time that you feel that you need to connect with what's going on within so that you can open yourself up to your body's answers.
So if it is safe for you to do so,
Closing down your eyes and bringing your hands to rest on your body,
Really creating that connection with your body.
Perhaps one hand over your heart,
The other over your belly,
Or wherever feels most supportive for you.
With your eyes closed,
Take a moment here to become aware of your breath.
Notice the way that your body kind of rises as you inhale and the way that your body kind of falls as you exhale.
Notice the way that your ribs expand and collapse with each breath.
And as you're bringing your awareness to your breath,
Not necessarily trying to change or to alter it,
But really just letting it be in its most natural ebb and flow,
Really practicing the art of acceptance,
Relinquishing control,
And letting things just be exactly as they are.
Now bringing your awareness to your base,
Breathing down into your seat,
Into the support that's beneath your body holding you.
Take a moment to feel all the points your body rests into the chair or whatever you are resting on beneath you.
With your next exhale,
Letting your body become,
Letting your back,
Your base,
Your legs,
Your whole body relax and melt into the support that's here.
Surrendering your weight down to the chair,
To the floor,
To the earth beneath you.
Dropping deeper into the safety,
The support,
Every time that you exhale trusting that it is safe to be in your body.
Remember,
It is safe to be.
Next,
Drawing your awareness into your heart and with your eyes still closed,
Take a moment here to feel the heart open as the breath expands into the front of your chest space.
Breathing here,
Dropping deeper into your heart and noticing how the sides of your chest open as you breathe in.
Really opening your heart to feel,
To sense,
To see what is here in this moment.
You're free to let the body adjust in any small or big movements to open this heart space further.
Really letting your body lead.
Maybe there's a change in posture,
Your heart needs to open more.
Maybe a breath or a sigh out to drop deeper into the depth of your heart.
If there's any movements or adjustments your body would have you take,
Go ahead and move into those now.
And now drawing your awareness and your breath deeper down into the pelvic bowl,
Letting the breath flow down into the left hip and then the right hip.
Taking a moment taking a moment to wake up this area as you place your mind's eye in the center of your hips.
This is the powerhouse of your body and for some the womb center of their body where all of our wisdom and our power lies.
Take a moment to just feel the base of the body here,
Open up from the inside out as you open yourself up to all of the answers that your body innately holds.
Again you're free to make any adjustments that the body,
The hips,
Or the pelvis would like.
There's no right or wrong movements to make,
Just any small or big movements as you really just feel breathing in and exhaling sighing out from the depths of your pelvic bowl.
And as we drop into this beautiful body today I invite you with your eyes still closed to take a moment to drop this question into the body.
Body,
What is it that you would have me know right now?
And just noticing what bubbles up in response.
There's no need to go searching for an answer,
Just exhaling and really feeling the weight of your body in the chair as you ask.
Body,
What is it that you would what is it that you would have me know right now?
Really opening to this question to feel,
To sense,
And to see all that might arise in response.
Really taking a moment with a few breaths to really allow for yourself to sit with what is being revealed.
And as well taking a moment to express gratitude to your body for all of the wisdom that it holds.
And then in your own time gently bringing yourself back to the day and when you're ready opening your eyes.
I hope that you all have a beautiful day and to really trust that we were all innately born intuitive.
It's merely and solely a skill that we have to cultivate to really be able to lean back into the innate wisdom that lies within our own body.
Your body always knows and it is safe to be in your body.
Thank you.
