Past Life Regression, Future Lives & Karma

John Jenkinson discusses past lives, karma and future lives. What to look out for and how best to prepare yourself when considering past life regression and future life progress. John describes practicle advice as to what to expect when you take part in past life healing work.

So let's talk about past lives and karma.

The two are very much interlinked.

People quite often will come to me and say,

I want to know who I was in a past life.

And of course,

A part of past life aggression is that you will understand exactly who you have been in a past life.

And whilst it is a component and a important part of a person's progression,

Their spiritual journey,

It isn't the whole picture.

When we live through our past life,

We live in the echo or the reverberation of what has already taken place.

It travels through the body and is part of our genetic makeup.

And we see reflections of this in our day to day lives.

So for example,

You may have been an actor or a performer in a previous life,

And you find yourself yearning to be an actor.

But it may be that it's not actually going to happen in this life.

And things like that can be conflicting in nature and affect your day to day life,

Confidence and decisions,

Etc.

But also a past life can be a defining factor in your character.

I discovered that I was a high priestess in a previous life,

An Atlantean high priestess.

And that opened up dimension to my personality and to the work that I do today.

Up until that point,

And fully acknowledging that past life,

Because it did take many years,

I knew I wanted to do this kind of work,

Helping you and giving my services wherever I can of a spiritual nature.

But something was not falling into place for me.

I'm talking a long time ago now.

But it's all relevant.

And it's all to do with karma.

And it's also the lesson and the test,

Acknowledgement,

In order for you to step into the next wave of reality of identity that you're supposed to be enacting in this lifetime.

And karma can work in a kind of permissive way.

So once you have acknowledged and transmitted your karma,

Across all dimensions of time and space,

It's what we work with,

You can then move forwards.

And that step forwards is to do with your soul's progression,

Your soul's timeline,

And your overall ascension process,

Which is why I call myself an ascension mastery coach,

And not just a past life regressionist.

Regression is just a small part of acknowledging the wider implications of past lives.

So future lives,

Is it possible to know your future self?

Yes and no.

Yes and no.

Your future self,

The identity of you,

Let's say I don't know,

You're 17 years old,

And you're training to be a carpenter.

Your future self as a car mechanic at 35,

Is that relevant to you now?

Well,

It's an interesting question,

Isn't it?

Because moreover,

The identity of who you're going to be,

How much money you're going to have,

What kind of house you're going to live in,

Where are you going to live,

Who's going to be your life partner,

All of these kinds of things.

The timeline that you sit on is best not decided by the conscious mind.

You see,

The conscious mind is very limited.

It has very narrow sort of perceptions.

The band of that reality,

The conscious mind,

Cannot fully grasp the whole picture of our life.

And indeed,

Even our unconscious mind cannot grasp the whole picture of the concept of our life.

And so,

If you were using future life progression to say,

Right,

I'm going to decide who I'm going to be in future.

I'm going to be a famous rock star.

The conscious mind does not know enough in order for you to do that.

And indeed,

If you set out to be that person,

You will find test after test after test,

If it's not supposed to be your destiny.

Now,

Your destiny in line with your soul and your highest good is very different to your conscious mind's idea of what you should or shouldn't be.

Now,

We can receive this messaging from social media,

From our parents,

From education,

But only your soul knows the timeline that you are supposed to be on.

So,

Doing future life progression from that perspective and saying,

Who am I going to be?

Where am I supposed to be in 10 years from now?

With a completely open conscious mind,

You will be able to see that that is,

In my mind,

The correct way to conduct a future life progression.

How does karma play out in our lives?

Karma is,

I believe,

An energy.

It is a resurfacing energy that sort of oscillates through our life in a kind of wave or boomerang effect.

So,

Karma is the test of your ego in real terms,

At a most fundamental level.

So,

Quite often our tests are egoic.

So,

If we find ourselves going through the same scenarios at work,

For example,

People falling out,

Friction,

Over competitiveness,

All this kind of thing,

Quite often there is a karmic reason for that mirror to be continually reflected back to you.

Now,

In that example,

I have seen many a client over the years that felt both a victim and persecutor of that kind of behaviour.

In fact,

Many have described having one role of being the victim and then another role of being the persecutor and saying,

Oh,

I didn't realise I had it in me.

How could I be like that?

But the reality is this is the nature of karma.

And so,

Regardless of past lives,

Future lives,

Or anything in between,

You really have to look at that as energy,

As a contract,

An agreement within your behaviour that you have learned.

And by transcending this from a new life position of bringing your awareness with you,

With the help of somebody like myself,

You can then transmute that karma,

That test and acknowledgement with the spirit world and all your highest guides and helpers and move forwards.

Quite often trauma is a very karmic energy and something that can affect the group energy as well.

So,

The whole of humanity and its collective.

So,

If you are in a group,

You can feel fear in the collective energy at any point.

Quite often there is a karmic undertone that the group of people need to understand in order to fully transmute that test of that lifetime.

And this is how we get into inherited tests,

Etc.

Yes,

We do inherit our tests from our parents.

We inherit our genes and our DNA from all of our descendants.

And they all have behaviour and responses stored in the genome.

And it's part of our predefined nature when we are born.

Along your timeline,

There will be specific points and aspects of your life whereby you have to pass those tests.

For some,

It starts as early as going to school and indeed between their parents.

So,

Quite often the young child is the great teacher to the parents,

Showing the test over and over again that really is as much within the parents as it is within the child.

Unfortunately,

Our problem reaction solution type way of thinking does not resolve the much deeper test that is within.

So,

In the new world,

In the world that we're going into,

We are without doubt going to see more people going within,

Looking to disperse these energies that are held within the body and progressing along their journey properly within the earth plane experience.

And this is a complete shift compared to the Piscian age,

Whereby everyone was very masculine,

Very square,

And sort of,

You know,

Based on doing or not doing.

And if there wasn't something that could be done,

It was often ignored or even worse,

Suppressed.

And all of this suppression of karmic activity is now rising to the surface and we can see it everywhere,

Can't we?

And I don't need to go into the sort of the dramas of what's taking place in our societies globally.

A little note about drama and dramas.

You know,

We are seeing the great drama unfold.

This is the time upon the earth plane that was prophesied that great battles would take place.

And if we're not seeing great battles taking place in terms of war,

They certainly take place within the hearts and minds of humanity at this moment in time.

I have been told and received that we live in two worlds,

Whilst we are more multi-dimensional than that,

But fundamentally our current life position is that we live in two worlds.

One is the stage where we all play a part and a role,

And the other is the spirit,

The spirit world,

Call it the fifth dimension for now,

Whereby we hold and welcome the energy where the true nature of energy and realities is sort of broadcast in and onto our body via our five senses.

And we are seeing on the earth plane,

Aside from this,

Two energies play out their drama and they both have the ability to be positive and negative.

And this is a bit different to the simple good versus evil concept that we are taught,

Which is running dry actually,

As we go forward to the narrative around this is the good guy,

This is the bad guy.

We aren't going to be able to easily differentiate between the two within our own moral psyche.

So understanding that there are two energies,

Warring energies,

That has been at play for millennia after millennia on the earth plane,

And that we as the spirit,

As the humanity,

It isn't our war,

And this is the other thing,

It isn't our conflict.

We are here just to watch and observe and really by doing that we will transmute and transcend that which is taking place.

It's a slightly different spin on other spiritual teachings and what we are being taught.
