Welcome to this short Nervous System Reset.

The intention behind this practice is to help you slow down and reconnect with your body.

Find a comfortable position and begin by gently breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale slowly,

Exhale softly.

Let yourself gently arrive,

No need to force anything,

Just feel and be here.

As you breathe in,

Expand your stomach and chest.

As you breathe out,

Empty the air fully.

Notice the movement of your body,

Rising and falling.

If your mind drifts,

That's okay.

Let the breath bring you back.

Now,

Begin to scan your body,

Starting with the crown of your head and slowly moving downward.

Feel your forehead and use the breath to soften it even more.

Let your eyes rest deeply,

Unclench your jaw.

Notice your neck and shoulders.

Can you let them drop just a little more?

Feel your arms,

Your hands.

Notice their weight,

Their warmth.

Bring your attention to even the most subtle sensation.

Move down through the chest,

The belly,

The hips.

Feel the weight of your body against the surface you're resting on.

Flow down towards your legs,

Your knees,

Your feet.

Is there a particular area of tension in your body?

Breathe into that sensation.

Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly.

Feel the rise and fall of the breath,

Connecting with this newfound state of presence.

Let this simple touch remind you that you are safe,

You are loved,

You are enough.

Take one more full,

Steady inhale and a long,

Easy exhale.

This awareness practice is a way to thank your body for all the work that it does.

Thank you for being here with me and I'm proud of you for completing this practice.

You're doing the work and your body recognizes your efforts.

Many blessings.
