You have chosen the element of fire.
This guided meditation will be about purifying yourself,
About cleansing emotional,
Physical,
And spiritual pain.
Emotional,
Physical,
And spiritual debris.
Whether it's conscious or unconscious.
Whether it's yours or generational.
Get ready to leave it all behind.
All things that no longer serve you.
Your body will remind you of it as you feel the sweating throughout your body.
The sounds will keep you present.
Your mind may struggle,
And yet it is your choice.
It is your choice,
It is your opportunity to leave it all behind.
Right here,
Right now.
To begin connecting with your breath.
Taking inhales through your nose,
And exhaling through your mouth.
Centering.
Unlike the other elements,
Unlike other meditations,
Use the mind chatter,
Use the distractions.
And if they irritate you,
And if they bring up any discomfort or distress,
It is your time to melt it away.
It is your time to set that intention.
And we will begin by envisioning the sun rays coming through.
Right here where you're at,
Sitting in this sauna,
Envision the sun rays reaching in and touching the surface of your head,
And going right through you.
Right at your core.
Right at your solar plexus.
And let the strength of that sun ray,
Which is pure fire,
To lift you up and take you with it.
You're going to find your body fully immersed in the heat,
Purifying it from the top to the bottom,
Inside,
Outside,
And all around.
And then allow the sun and the rays to bring you down,
But this time when you land,
Your feet will touch the ground,
And what you see around you is nightlight,
The moon.
Take a moment to explore your surroundings.
This time you're going to find yourself around the mountains,
And there's plenty of wood in the center for a campfire.
The moonlight is shining bright,
Full moon,
And you're going to utilize this space,
This moment,
To be present,
Raw,
To be truthful with yourself,
And release once and for all what no longer serves you.
Whatever is in there that obstructs your well-being,
Go ahead and touch the wood.
Your fingertips will light it up.
You are fire itself,
And in no time,
The campfire begins,
Sparkling,
The flames so high,
So intense,
And ready to burn,
Ready to purify,
Ready to cleanse,
Ready to give you back your power.
This is your moment.
Sit with it.
You're not alone.
You're not alone as this circle becomes to expand,
And you feel your hands being touched,
And you get the sensation that you know,
You know who is there.
Your subconscious brought them.
These are extensions of you,
You at different ages,
The younger you that needs healing,
And then we have those that preceded us,
Those that perhaps left behind a trace of pain that also needs to be cleared,
Our ancestors.
They too are part of this circle.
They are around this campfire,
And they are ready to assist in this healing.
Let yourself be.
Don't hold back,
And as you feel the sweat dripping over your face,
Dripping over your body,
You know,
You know that you are ready to release.
Allow for each and one of the parts of you that are present,
The younger you,
And the ancestors,
One by one,
To take their turn in releasing.
Give them the spotlight.
You can envision each part,
One at a time,
Coming forward to the campfire,
Setting the intention to be free from their pain,
Their past,
Their limitations.
Shake it off right there.
Let them dance it around,
Kick in the air,
Throw rocks at the fire.
Let the body roar and be.
Let them be free from their pain,
Their limitations,
And let them be free from their past.
Being human is imperfect in itself.
There's no need to think that you have to be proper and perfect at all times,
That you have to keep it inside,
That you have to simply get past it,
Get over it.
And yet,
We learn from our difficult experiences.
We learn from our pain if we allow it to be so.
As each part of you parts from you,
Give it thanks.
For as difficult as it might have been,
Or it is,
It has formed you.
It has made you who you are.
It's giving you the courage right now to transform yourself.
If there are parts of you as well that require joining together,
Be it the five-year-old with an ancestor,
Or the 12-year-old with a 21-year-old,
Let them unite,
Let them talk it out,
Let them figure it out.
But also,
Let them release it.
Don't forget to breathe.
Don't forget to step out for a drink of water if you need to.
It is not easy work to release.
It can be quite tiresome.
However,
Once you're done,
At the end of it all,
You will feel lighter,
You will feel better.
It is all worth it.
Now,
If there are things that perhaps don't feel right to be said,
Out loud,
In the circle that you're in,
Take a moment to walk around,
Around that mountain,
See if you find either a long,
Large leaf,
Something where you feel you can write,
And release that way.
Sit with it.
Even if it's your thoughts being placed over that leaf,
Over a rock,
Over more wood,
Release it there.
And then,
Take it back to the fire.
There's also a tremendous satisfaction as human beings that we receive while watching something burn.
We feel it is completed.
There's a conclusion to something.
When all you see at the end is ashes,
It is returned to the earth where it is recycled.
If that is your way,
Then do so.
Write it,
Write it on pieces of wood,
And watch it burn.
Let the flames remind you that there's always the possibility of a new beginning,
That there are always endings,
But endings are not necessarily bad.
They can make room for new beginnings.
This is part of what you're doing today,
Making room for the new,
For the better,
Making room to grow emotionally,
Spiritually,
Regenerating yourselves in the hopes that physical pain can also be vanished.
If you find any kind of resistance within,
Hesitations,
Holding back,
Perhaps you're not ready to release just yet.
Just that aspect.
Or perhaps all you need to hear is dare to move forward.
You deserve to be healthy.
You deserve to be pure and well.
This is where the mind chatter can become a part of it.
Whatever thought processes you've aligned with,
Challenge them if they do not serve you.
And let the fire cleanse them.
The purity of the fire The fire that you're sitting in front of came from within you.
You have the innate ability to connect with the sunrays,
To connect with your personal fire and power,
And heal yourself.
Daring is the part that needs work.
Daring to face it.
Daring to trust yourself.
Daring to believe that you deserve better.
Daring to integrate all parts of you.
And taking charge of all parts of you,
Healing all of it.
Not just a mind,
Not just a body by itself,
Not just a spirit by itself,
Because you are all of it.
Within that space that you're in,
Use these last few seconds to release whatever is left.
Whatever you feel you are ready or done with.
Shake it off.
And notice how slowly some of the members that were around the circle begin to vanish.
They're done.
Some of the ancestors might also be gone.
Their work is done.
You are left alone in front of the fire.
Give it things.
Stand and go around it one last time.
Enjoy the heat.
And slowly the flames begin to vanish until there's no fire at all.
And the moon is now gone and in its place.
The sun is rising.
The sun rays reach out to touch the surface of your head and with its strength pull you back up,
Away from that scene,
Transporting you back into the sauna,
Physically into the sauna.
As you go back to connecting with your breath,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Your insides might feel superheated.
This was hard work.
You deserve to be kind to yourself thereafter and just relax.
Take it easy for the rest of the day.
Breathing in and out as you bring awareness back into your body and the space that you're in.
And whenever you are ready,
You can open your eyes or remain there until your time has come to part.
You are welcome to come back and do more work as you see fit whenever you need to.
For now,
You did a wonderful job.
Be proud and make it a peaceful day.
