If you're curious to explore what life truly means,
If you're curious to explore what it means to be alive,
Well,
Then it's important to know how to be able to take our glasses off and put them aside,
To be able to look at life without the lens,
To be able to look at life without glasses on.
And in order to do that,
We need to practice.
We need to learn how to be able to put the glasses off,
Put them aside.
And in order to grab them,
We need to first identify that we have glasses on.
So it starts with really a question,
Questioning your own reality,
Questioning your own filter,
Your own perception,
Your own perspective.
Then we realize that we just have a perspective in this moment.
The way we view things is just one unique perspective.
And that it is not all perspectives.
And so taking a step inward and becoming aware that,
Yes,
There is a perspective I'm seeing here.
Is it filtered?
Is the way I'm viewing life right now filtered?
And usually that lens,
That filter,
Is our past impressions,
Our past experience.
We look at life,
Not anymore as it is,
But through the lens of our past.
An example for that is,
Right now I'm seeing an apple.
I'm grabbing an apple.
I see an apple.
Now I have a lot of associations around an apple.
It's different than when I see an apple for the first time.
When I see an apple for the first time,
I don't know what it is.
I'm approaching it with curiosity,
Exploration.
I don't even know that I can eat an apple.
It's just an accumulative thought.
Something that I've learned by experience or that someone has told me that I now know that I can eat an apple and that it is called an apple.
But when I experience an apple for the first time,
I don't know any information about it.
And so looking at things in life without the lens is the same thing as looking at things for the first time.
So if you feel like right now you're looking at something and it's not interesting to you,
You're not curious about it and you're just disregarded as something that you already know,
You most certainly have a certain filter on currently.
A filter of the past.
And so you're not seeing life as it is right now.
You're seeing it through the filter and the limitation of the past.
So you cannot,
Per your lens,
Explore it as something new.
Or the possibility doesn't arise to explore something new.
Because you're looking at it through the filter of the past.
So it is not interesting to you.
You're not having that novelty,
That curiosity around the same subject or that object.
So for an apple,
It would be something I can explore,
Something I can look into,
Something I can taste,
Something I can listen to,
Something I can feel.
It's connecting us again with our senses.
And so that is the key to coming back through a filterless way to look at life.
Exploring again with curiosity,
What is truly an apple?
Grabbing it with our senses.
Feeling it again,
Truly.
Not eating the apple or tasting the apple.
Or feeling or smelling the apple while thinking something else.
Because the thinking,
While I'm doing the exploration,
Is just the past filter.
All the past associations that I've created around an apple,
My memory,
Will be now activated the moment I get in touch with the apple.
So it is the filter of the past that can distract us from experiencing the apple,
Truly.
From tasting the apple,
Truly.
From feeling,
From smelling it,
From hearing the apple,
Truly.
And so we,
Most of the time,
Just ignore the experience.
We're thinking about something else,
Visualizing,
Imagining something else.
Something else.
Than it truly is.
And so if we want to come back to look at life as it is,
Through a filterless way of looking at life and our experience,
We just come back to curiosity,
To explore what it means to just be with an apple.
And not even thinking about the label apple.
Going beyond the name.
Not even thinking through the memory,
What do I know about the apple?
But just experiencing absolutely with presence the apple.
Having it in my hands.
Tasting it fully.
Taking the time to actually experience.
The experience.
Rather than just eating an apple.
There's a big difference between tasting something as a new thing and being fully involved in the experience and just eating something and thinking about tomorrow or yesterday.
And so my invitation for you today in this exploration is to allow yourself to look at life as it is.
Not through the filter of your memory.
And not through that one perspective that you keep carrying on.
Take off your glasses.
See that right now,
If there's no curiosity in you to explore what this life is,
Which it is.
Life is a mystery.
We don't know where we come from,
Where we're gonna go.
Even what's gonna happen tomorrow.
Yes,
We might have an idea or an image,
A vision.
But really,
Who's doing the breath in our body right now?
Who is beating our heart?
In every moment,
24 hours,
What is that life force within us that gives us the possibility to experience life in this moment?
We don't know.
It's a mystery.
It's a happening.
And if we are curious to know,
We're opening ourselves up to the freedom that lies within us.
Because being curious,
Wanting to know is our essence.
Our essence as human beings is to wanting to know.
Wanting to know something.
And we can only open up by realizing that we don't know.
And that the filter we have is just one perspective.
That the past memories,
We have one perspective.
It's an accumulation of the past and that we set up on our face and now we're looking through that lens.
And forget that this is not life.
But it's truly not life.
Our past is not our life.
Our life is in this moment.
And if you want to connect with our life in this moment,
We realize that we don't know anything.
And look through the non-filter of everything as it is.
Everything as new.
Without any concepts,
Without any association,
Without any memory.
And this is a skill we can practice.
This is something we can learn to do.
So I invite you to practice today.
Look at everything as if it's the first time.
Take your own time,
Your own pace.
To explore everything you get in touch with.
Whether it's a person,
A thing.
In your usual environment.
The wall,
The painting,
The plant.
The lamp you have,
The table,
The chair.
The fork,
Your plate,
The cup.
The coffee machine,
Anything that is right now in your environment.
Take some time and pay attention to it.
Slow down,
Be curious.
Find new details that you've never seen before.
And the moment you're paying attention and you explore new details and you're curious about it.
You know that slowly and slowly you're setting off the filter.
And so now you're entering into a natural state of your essence.
Your essence that wants to know more.
So thank you for being with me today.
I appreciate your presence.
And I'll see you in the next video.
