Part 1 | Coming Home to Yourself: A Menstrual Phase Meditation (Early Phase) A gentle meditation to support deep rest and inner retreat during the early days of menstruation. This practice invites softness, grounding, and emotional release as hormone levels drop and the body seeks restoration. Your body moves through a beautiful rhythm each month—one of release, renewal, expression, and reflection. Yet so often, we are taught to ignore these shifts, to push through, to stay the same every day. This series invites you to return home to your body’s natural rhythm, honoring the physical and emotional wisdom that lives within each phase of your menstrual cycle.

Hello love.

Welcome to this moment.

This meditation is here to support you during the early days of your menstrual cycle.

A time when your body is gently asking you to slow down,

Turn inward,

And rest.

As your hormone levels,

Estrogen and progesterone drop,

You may notice lower energy,

Heightened sensitivity,

And a need for solitude.

You may feel more emotionally tender or physically fatigued.

This is not a weakness,

It is a sacred invitation.

A call from your body to soften.

To let go.

To come home to yourself.

So let's begin.

Settle into a space that feels supportive to you.

Maybe lying down with a cozy blanket or just seated in stillness.

Let your arms rest gently in your lap or by your sides.

And when you're ready,

Softly close your eyes or drop your gaze.

Take a deep breath in.

And sighing exhale.

And exhale.

Letting your body begin to melt into the space around you.

There's nothing to do right now.

You are enough exactly as you are.

Allow yourself to simply be held by this moment.

And by the wisdom of your own body.

Feel yourself slowly softening.

Relax your shoulders.

Unclench your jaw.

Soften the space between your eyebrows.

And let your belly be soft and unguarded.

This is your time to rest.

With each breath,

Feel your body release.

Letting go of tension,

Of expectations,

Of pressure to do or perform.

Inhale.

I am safe to rest.

Exhale.

I release the need to push.

I honor my body's rhythms.

Exhale.

I soften into stillness.

You are in a time of natural shedding.

Physically,

Emotionally,

Energetically.

This is a cycle of release.

What are you ready to let go of?

Let your breath help you clear space.

Breathing out anything that no longer belongs to you.

Anything that no longer serves you.

You do not need to be productive to be worthy.

You do not need to be strong to be whole.

Your softness is sacred.

Your rest is revolutionary.

You are allowed to cocoon.

To retreat.

To say no.

To give yourself everything you need.

Inhale.

I give myself permission to rest.

Exhale.

I am held and supported.

Feel the quiet power of this phase.

The quiet power of your body doing exactly what it was designed to do.

There is wisdom in this stillness.

There is healing in your slowing down.

Let yourself linger here for a few more breaths.

In this space of deep inner care.

Ready?

Gently begin to return to your body.

Notice the surface beneath you.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Maybe take a soft stretch if that feels good.

Take one more deep loving breath in.

This time is always here for you.

Return to this meditation each day while you are in this phase of your cycle.

You are safe to rest.

You are safe to be.

You are safe to come home to yourself.

With love and light.

Namaste.
