This meditation helps to shift the control of your emotions from being a result of another to the other a gift of awareness and to understand what is really bothering you.

Hello everyone,

My name is Steve Fisher and this meditation is about finding release of stress from relationships,

From work colleagues,

From anything or anyone outside of yourself.

There's many of us that we internalize that stress,

That we carry that within us and it builds up and it changes our quality of life.

It creates an intense anxiety,

It creates a stress and if we just take a moment to shift our thoughts,

To center our being and to reflect back on who it is that we truly are,

Then we might notice that that stress is an illusion,

That it comes with ourselves,

That we created within our minds.

Yes it's attached to our memory or our thought of someone else,

But in many ways we create that stress.

I can feel the stress that was within my body dissolving and a lot of the times that stress comes with a decision,

Knowing what to do,

Knowing how to be something that may not be congruent or in harmony with who you are and that is what is causing the stress.

It's never a simple answer,

It's usually a little bit of a complicated one.

If it were simple we would have made the decision and removed the stress.

So in this meditation we're going to focus within,

Not to seek any answer but simply to let go of that stress,

To realize that we are creating it,

We can let it go and to no longer think about that while we are meditating.

To take a simple break.

So join me my friends,

Let's just breathe out and let go of any stress.

Breathing in again through your nose,

Holding to the count of four or whatever is comfortable for you and then breathing out,

Letting go.

Two,

Three and four and then holding again.

I can feel this shift in my own energy and I hope that you can too.

Simply continue to breathe,

Breathing in through your nose,

Holding and breathing out through your mouth.

Feels so good just to let go.

That's what we're looking for,

Is we're looking for a little bit of relief,

A little bit of relaxation.

Everyone wants a little laughter in their lives,

A little bit of joy.

I think if you would look at the people that are causing some of that stress,

They're just seeking significance and it's okay.

There's nothing that you need to do or can do.

They will alter how they're feeling just like there's nothing that they could do to really change how you feel inside because that feeling is our own.

If they acted in accordance with our beliefs,

Then we might be at peace.

But would they even be participating in this life if they were exactly as we wish them to be?

The beauty,

The challenge is to awaken from the sleep,

To notice what it is that we are thinking and feeling,

And to notice anytime,

Anyone triggers a thought or a feeling that we may not like.

If you look at somebody that is offering that trigger as a gift,

A gift of self-awareness,

It is very empowering.

It'll connect you to that light within,

That brilliant significance of who you are.

It'll let the stress,

Any sadness,

Any feeling that is not in alignment with who you are simply release.

My core feelings,

The feelings that I wish to carry are joy,

Peace,

Authenticity.

I'm feeling my joy picking up as we are just sitting here meditating with you.

And thank you for that energy.

Thank you for that space.

It is my honor to be in this space with you.

And I truly have gratitude for you being here.

I hope this meditation has helped you.

You have certainly helped me.

Thank you for your energy.

Practice gratitude.

Just take a few moments and recognize that we are responsible for how we feel.

That is the self-awareness journey.
