Hi friends,
My name is Shayla.
Thank you for being here,
For consciously choosing this time for yourself.
I'll be guiding you towards a state in which you can fully give yourself the permission to relax and let go,
To find the calm in the being rather than the doing.
Sometimes by slowing down,
We get there faster.
So go ahead and find your comfort and we'll get started.
Time is such an interesting concept in our lives.
Somehow we think we have infinite amounts of it yet we find ourselves feeling like we never have enough.
Well,
I want to remind you that you are all you need.
Infinity lies in your potential.
Your biggest accomplishments can be the abundance of love you experience on a daily basis.
You are capable of shifting your focus to the blessings in your life rather than just your to-do list.
Maybe instead of thinking what you have to do,
You can switch the lens to see it as what you get to do because today is a blessing.
How lucky are you to live the life that you are living?
Your breath is the reminder of the present moment,
The most efficient guide.
So let's lean into this.
Taking a big breath in through the nose and exhale.
Let it go.
Good.
Let it all go.
Inhale and exhale.
Good.
And keep breathing.
This breath of yours is one of the only constant forces in your life.
I know you may feel like you have so many other things weighing you down,
But your breath is the ultimate life force that can ground you and uplift you simultaneously.
It is your lifetime companion that is with you through all the highs and the lows.
Allowing gratitude to rise to the surface now on your next inhale and exhale.
Thank you,
Breath.
I love you.
Gently allowing your shoulders now to melt away from the ears,
Sliding those shoulder blades down the back,
Allowing yourself to get lighter here.
Focusing on the waves of calm you are creating right now with your breath.
The ebb,
The flow.
Release any weight that has been hibernating in your body.
Guide any of that energetic residue towards the path of your next out breath.
Let it go.
Let it go.
Continue to feel yourself getting lighter,
Using your breath to gently anchor down into the present moment.
You have nowhere else you need to be,
Nothing else you need to do but be right here in the now.
Allowing your breath to take space into the body,
Thinking your physical vessel here for everything it does for you.
Just remembering that sometimes you need to fill your own cup first before you can fill up everyone else's.
You need to tend to your own well inside.
Self-love is not selfish.
Connecting with your inner world is so important for your external one.
For you to be the best person you can,
You need to be your own best friend first.
Using your breath now to connect into that space and maybe bringing to mind something about yourself right now that you would say to your own best friend.
Breathing in,
I am great.
Breathing out,
I am so powerful.
Breathing in,
I am calm.
Breathing out,
I am at peace.
Just continue connecting here,
Knowing that your self-worth is not measured in your productivity.
Life is nestled into all the small things.
Your children laughing,
Your friends smiling,
The feeling of a warm cup of tea.
These things can't be measured.
Allowing yourself to drop all these metrics that you place on yourself,
Putting them down to rest,
Floating with your breath.
You are doing great.
Taking a big exhale now,
Let it all go.
Sink back into your body.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Good.
Feeling yourself rise up to the sky,
Feeling yourself in with gratitude and self-confidence and self-love for a great day that lies ahead.
Thank you for joining me.
It is always an honor and wishing you love and peace always.
Namaste.
