This meditation is all about using the power of your beautiful smile to increase the vibrancy and lightness of your being.

As you practice bringing a smile to your mind,

To your body,

And your being,

You'll notice your cells coming alive in a very peaceful yet awake manner.

And this is so healthy and healing not only emotionally,

But actually physically for your body.

It's one of the kindest things that you can do for yourself.

We'll begin this practice by centering in and really coming into this present moment.

So find somewhere comfortable to sit,

Somewhere you can completely relax,

And begin to feel into your body.

Becoming aware of your very presence.

Feeling the weight of your sit bones against your chair.

And noticing any areas of tension in the body.

And then as you begin to lengthen your inhales and your exhales,

See if you can direct your breath into these spaces.

Imagining your breath flooding those areas of tension with lightness and spaciousness.

Bringing a greater sense of ease and relaxation.

And just continue to breathe deeply and fully,

Taking as much oxygen as possible into your lungs.

Pausing at the top,

Really letting that breath soak in.

And then exhaling,

Letting it all go as you release tension and relax further into your seat.

Inhale.

And exhale,

Let it all go.

Now I'd like you to bring the sensation of a smile to your face without actually smiling.

Feeling the sensation of a smile.

And noticing the lightness and lift this brings to your being.

Feeling how it animates your face with more life force and more energy.

Just enjoy this sensation.

Now allow your face to completely relax and be neutral.

See if you can bring that smile to the top of your head.

Just feeling a smile sitting upon your head like a crown,

Peaceful and serene,

Light and joyful,

Shining brightly.

And now bring that sensation of a smile to your brain.

Feel your whole brain smiling.

Bringing that smile to your right ear and your left ear.

Feeling your ears smiling.

Bringing it to your face on your forehead.

Feel your right eyeball smiling.

Your left eyeball smiling.

Bringing that sensation to the corners of your eyes,

Your cheeks,

Your nose,

Giving it a little wiggle.

Bringing it to your lips,

Your teeth,

Your tongue,

Your jaw.

Feeling your whole face and your whole head smiling.

Now take a deep breath in and relax.

Now bring that sensation of a smile to your throat and your neck,

The back of your neck.

Feel your right shoulder smiling.

Bring the sensation of a smile to your upper arm,

Your elbow,

Your lower arm.

Feeling a smile in the palm of your right hand.

Feeling your thumb smiling,

Your pointer finger,

Your middle finger,

Your ring finger,

And your pinky.

Now feel your whole right arm smiling.

Breathe in.

And exhale.

Let it all go.

Now feel your left shoulder smiling.

Bringing the sensation of a smile to your upper arm,

Your elbow,

Your lower arm.

Bringing a smile to your left palm,

Your thumb,

Pointer finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

And your pinky.

Feeling your whole left arm smiling brightly.

Breathe in.

And breathe out.

See if you can bring the sensation of a smile to your heart.

Feel it flowering and beaming loveliness,

Shining and smiling,

Radiating love and well-being.

Bring the sensation of a smile to your ribs.

Feel your right lung smiling and your left lung smiling.

Feel your belly shining a bright shiny smile.

Feel a smile throughout your pelvis.

Feel your upper back smiling,

Your mid back,

Your lower back.

Now see if you can feel your whole torso smiling.

Breathe in.

Exhale.

Relax.

Now bring the sensation of a smile to your right hip,

Your upper leg.

Feel your right knee smiling.

Your lower leg.

Feel your right ankle smiling.

Bring the sensation of a smile to the sole of your right foot.

Feel your right big toe smiling.

Your second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

And your little pinky.

Feel your whole right leg smiling.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Bring the sensation of a smile to your left hip,

Your upper leg,

Feeling your left knee smiling brightly.

Your lower leg.

Feel your left ankle smiling.

The sole of your left foot.

Bring a smile to your big left toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Your fourth toe,

And your pinky.

Feel your whole left leg smiling.

Breathe in.

Exhale.

Relax.

And now see if you can bring that overall sensation of a big bright smile to your entire body.

Feel your whole body smiling.

From the top of your head to the tips of your toes and your fingers.

Really infusing that bright shiny smile into every cell and bone of your body.

Just letting this beautiful smile radiate forth in waves of lightness and color and joy.

And then take a nice deep breath in,

Pausing at the top,

And exhale with a sigh.

And simply sit in your big smile.

Celebrate it.

Celebrate you.

Never forget the power of your smile to bring healing and joy to you and this world.
