Find a comfortable space to lay down, close your eyes, and allow me to help you slow down, find rest and ease. The use of headphones is highly recommended for this experience. Hi there.
Welcome to your guided meditation and breathwork session centered around helping you rest,
Relax,
And sleep.
I am so happy that you are here.
Before we get started,
I invite you to change into anything that is comfortable and that feels really soft and cozy.
Once you're in whatever feels best for you,
I invite you to find a space where you're able to lay down comfortably,
Whether that's on your bed,
On your couch,
Wherever it is that you need to rest and relax.
As always,
You're welcome to have anything else with you that might make our time together even more nourishing.
Maybe an eye mask or your favorite blanket.
Whatever it is that you need,
I'll give you a few seconds to settle in.
As you settle in,
I just wanted to let you know that it is safe for you to be here.
It's safe for you to slow down,
To rest,
And relax.
Whenever you're settled in,
You are welcome to close your eyes.
As you do,
I invite you to take a nice deep breath in through your nose and exhale out of your mouth,
Letting it all go.
Inhale through your nose.
And exhale out of your mouth.
Great job.
One last time,
Inhaling through your nose and exhaling out of your mouth,
Allowing any tension,
Any resistance,
Anything that no longer serves you to simply float away.
As you continue to settle in to your space,
I invite you to begin to notice the surface beneath you that you're laying on,
Allowing yourself to relax into the surface beneath you,
Allowing it to just hold you,
And allowing yourself to receive its support.
And as you do,
Can you give your body permission to relax,
Allowing it to become heavy?
And as you do,
I invite you to do a scan of your body,
Starting at your feet and working your way up towards your head.
Can you notice how each part of your body feels as you surrender into the surface beneath you,
Continuing to allow the entire space that you're laying on to support you,
To hold you?
As you move up your body,
Doing your body scan,
Acknowledge any areas of your body where you're holding tension,
Taking a deep breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale out of your mouth,
Giving that part of your body permission to relax,
To release,
To let go.
You can relax knowing that you are exactly where you need to be.
There's nothing that you need to do,
Nowhere else that you need to go.
Continuing to scan your body,
Allowing each and every part of your body to become heavy.
We'll move into a breathing exercise to help us relax even more.
We'll start our breathing exercise by taking a nice deep breath in through the nose.
And as you inhale,
Tensing up every single muscle in your body,
Feeling every muscle contract as you hold,
Holding the inhale,
Holding this tension.
And as you exhale out of your mouth,
Letting your body relax.
Beautiful job.
Allowing your body to once again become heavy as we continue with our breathing exercise.
In this exercise,
We will inhale through our nose for a count of 5 and exhale out of our mouth for a count of 8.
With each inhale,
I invite you to bring in feelings of rest,
Of peace,
Of calm,
Allowing them to wash over your entire body.
And with every exhale,
Letting all of your tension go.
Your only job right now is to relax,
To listen to my voice,
And to breathe.
So whenever you're ready,
You'll inhale through your nose.
