Welcome to this meditation.
Today I'd like to help you deal with anxiety.
Find a comfortable place where you can lay down.
It can be a yoga mat or the floor or even your bed.
Place one hand on your belly and one hand on your chest and simply breathe in and out.
Every time you breathe in,
Notice your belly and chest rising.
And every time you breathe out,
Notice the back of your body against the surface where you're laying flat.
Keep breathing deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Notice the sensation of your body.
And every time you breathe out,
Release the tensions in the back of the head,
The neck,
The shoulders.
When you breathe in,
Notice the space in your chest,
In your lungs,
Between the ribs.
And when you breathe out,
Soften the jaw,
The belly.
Relax the legs.
Keep bringing your attention back to your breath.
The connection between your palms and your body.
Notice the temperature of the air going through your nostrils and filling your body.
And perceive the difference when you breathe out through your mouth.
With every inhalation,
Bring more air inside,
Expanding your belly even more.
And when you breathe out,
Relax the muscles of your core,
Of your abdomen,
All the way down.
Inhale,
Just like you're inflating a balloon.
And slightly open your lips,
Sigh it out.
Keep taking big inhalation,
Forcing the ribcage to expand.
And soft exhalation,
Letting go of the stress,
Anxiety.
Breathe in and breathe out,
Slowly starting to feel calm in your mind and your body.
And keep doing that for as long as you need,
Until you feel fully present.
